- Reviews:No plants and google said they had plants and it’s taxed for stuff that you find half price at Walmart or online so not impressed ———6-24-2022———update Went back for air mattress and blanket they had it but again it’s overpriced and taxed but they did have the stuff there so I gave them 3 stars for over priced stuff!!By Tony Da-Tiger (10 months ago)To whom it may concern, I came to Target as I’ve shopped at many Targets throughout the USA. I love this store and what it has to bring. I came in today to return an item I purchased, and found I had already had at home. Approaching the 5-7 employees standing (socializing) at the customer service desk. I was not greeted, not responded to, nor was there any show of customer support. I returned the item, and proceeded to accomplish some shopping to prepare for my weekend and found a line of 15+ customers. They are only able to go through self checkout! I don’t know if this is the route target is aiming for, but I do feel there is a lack of management here and I decided to make my shopping elsewhere.By Casper Byrd (11 months ago)Target made it really easy for me to return a defective record player I bought. I was able to return at a different location. Target employees made the process easy for me to receive a store credit toward the purchase of a new record player. I appreciate their help as I had never returned anything before and it had been 10 days after the purchase date.By Steven Matthews (3 weeks ago)Do yourself a favor and buy online. I’m all for supporting actual stores, but there is literally no value in purchasing things from a physical store if they don’t offer a policy to repair/exchange/refund electronics that fail on their own in under 3 months. What is the point? I’m out a 300 bucks and a working pair of headphones but I did get to keep my regret.By Nick Southcote (2 months ago)This is the line for self- checkout this evening. There are NO staffed checkouts. At least they had what I was looking for. I’ll be able to actually buy it… eventually.By SeaRock Hills (2 months ago)

- Reviews:Honestly unlike many other peoples experiences here mine have been great. Yes this neighborhood is in need of some love and you should use caution throughout downtown, that should be put against target. I really do respect target for making more of their stores in cool, urban locations. Didn’t have any issues with the staff since most of it has become self checkout, has everything from clothes to groceries and more, prices are fine, and unlike many of the other reviews have said it’s actually really well stocked. I take the star off because yes it still has some work to do here and there, not far off though. Just small problems like lots of items are only in bulk instead of solo one person things etc. This target has my respect for sure.By Vanny (9 months ago)Eye-opening. My heart goes out to the hard-working staff here who have to worry about their safety. Nothing but empty shelves in this store because of all the junkies stealing everything they can get their hands on. Both Target and the City of Seattle need to take action. This really goes to show the corruption going on in this city and how rotten Seattle really is.By Kevin Rabanales (a year ago)A truly terrible store. Great location, right by Pike Place Market, but in the 5 years we’ve been going to it, the stocking has got worse and worse. At first, my joke was “go there with a shopping list of 5 items, you’ll be lucky to find 3 in stock”. Now odds are good you won’t find any. The frozen and refrigerated items are often as much as three quarters empty. The pharmacy aisles are sometimes 90% empty. And now, to top it off, they have removed all the baskets from the store and all but a handful of carts. At checkout today everybody in line was juggling their items in their hands because of this. Employees claimed they had been stolen but I don’t believe it, as it was a very short time between having plenty of baskets and adequate carts and having no baskets and almost no carts. And the carts’ wheels lock if get anywhere near the doors, as when trying to return them to the right place after checkout. I don’t know if Target corporate wants to drive customers away, or whether the local manager is terrible. But the result is very poor.By Charles Engelke (a year ago)In spite of being in downtown, this target is quite big and they carry everything. I usually drive up and pick up from here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The drive up process is simple, they also have a big garage with one hour of free parking I believe. Would recommend shopping from this target.By Sindu (3 months ago)Had to run in for a return and was surprised at how quickly it went. With all of the theft and receipt scams these days I’m used to having to practically sign away my first born child along with the return. Not today, easy return laid back employee, short wait time makes for a happy return customer.By Nik Win (2 weeks ago)

Both floors of the store are newly renovated but not all the staff want to assist their customers. Perhaps customer service skills are not a mandatory thing at Target anymore. Also a lot of their products aren’t on the shelf when online says in stock. Sadly this store makes me not want to go back to a target ever.
*Update – I haven’t been to Target for awhile. Just went this morning.. I did notice somethings there are cheaper, similar items that we (my husband & myself) BOUGHT at other stores are priced lower at this chain store than at their competitors stores. I did not request any help from staff this trip but I’m pretty sure they were following me around the store like I was a shoplifter! Perhaps I could of gotten better customer service because of this but it was early and I have dreadlocks so I guess I should of fixed myself up better 🤷♀️ It will probably be awhile before I go back to this Target again.
Target get it together!!! A couple points for a store that’s literally making a ton of money; if you want people to spend more money they need a vessel to carry the objects they want to purchase…not a cart in sight, when I asked the checker the poor person said that everyone called in sick… dude…target…you literally make so much money you should pay your people more so they want to come to work!!! I basically should get rebate because I have to pull a cart from the parking lot and check myself out…I need an employee discount. Do better you are making to much profit on exploiting your customers!!! This place is a big bummer!!
My wife and I were at Northgate target. We had purchased items in self check and then discovered gift cards we hadn’t seen before. We went to the check out to buy them and waited through three very long orders. The floor manager had another register open and asked the couple behind us to go! My wife spoke up and said” we’re next “. The manager said yes, but… and so my wife said, we are going over there. The floor manager said, “ you don’t have to be rude” ! I said, “ she wasn’t being rude”. The manager proceeded to announce how “rude people are and can’t believe how rude we were”! We are two 70 year olds buying two gifts cards and were next in line. This floor manager( dark haired larger girl) needs to learn customer service.
Not sure how this links to the rest of the business, but I’ve never been to a better Starbucks than this one. The best service and the most cordial, communicative employees. It’s bizarre that this is no longer the norm, but their concern for their clients is out of this world. In fact, she rejected my shots because she didn’t like the consistency and questioned me about my day while I waited for my drink.
Northgate Target is the absolute WORST in customer service. I have NEVER had anyone answer the telephone after 5 pm when I call and I’ve literally phoned every department trying to get someone to pick up. This has happened every single time I have an issue with an order and try to get someone to help me resolve the problem. Tonight I received the wrong order when I used curbside pickup and I didn’t realize it until I got home to unload my items. Target says I have to send the items back in order to get my CORRECT items SHIPPED to me, yet my missing merchandise costs triple the price compared to the items I received. No one will answer the telephone to remedy the situation and I’m absolutely disgusted at Target management. Target needs to do better. Replace your management team if they aren’t capable of answering the telephone in the evening hours, at the VERY least. Shame on you Target!
