It took me a second to get used to the layout of this Wal-Mart but admittedly I haven’t been to one in a couple years. This location was one of the nicest Wal-Marts I’ve been to in the MidWest. Clean store. Nice staff. The pet food is stored near the garden/outdoor section. I figured that out after I walked to the opposite side of the store. Nothing this so you don’t make my mistake.

My wife and I have used the curbside pickup service several times as we believe in giving the benefit of the doubt. However, after placing orders 4-6 hours in advance, receiving confirmations that the order is ready, and following every protocol, the wait was still anywhere from 45 minutes to over an hour after arriving at the store. Do not recommend, and will no longer use this service. Everything, even checkout, is faster when done ourselves.

I waited for one and a half hours for them to bring my delivery to my car. I went into customer service twice and was assured each time that they would bring my items out to me. It never happened. They wouldn’t answer their pick-up phone number or the customer service phone. I went into customer service a third time and the supervisor of that department finally got it taken care of. She said I never should have waited that long because they weren’t even that busy. I’ll never go to that Walmart ever again.

I’m actually over this store. They have rearranged everything yet again. You cannot find a worker to help you find the products that you need. And when you do find one of them they are very rude, unwilling to help you find the product that you need, and act as if you were inconveniencing them when you want them to do their job. And don’t get me started on the self checkouts I think there are two lanes where you can get somebody to actually check you out. And then they want to stop me at the door to look at my receipt to see if I did their job for them no I’d rather go somewhere else and pay a higher price just to have them do their job. Overall Walmart I’m extremely disappointed in the service

Doing a move and had to pick up a couple things on the way to the new place. Even though it was Thanksgiving weekend it was an easy visit. No real crowds.

2nd within the past 2 weeks of coming here and once again they had no empty carts inside the store. Had to go back outside to get a cart. Whenever I walked inside there was about 10 employees just standing around not doing anything. Management needs to do better and pay more attention.

I am so irritated about the amount of shopping carts left in the parking lot that are not collected or even pushed to the corrals! Every time I go I have to collect carts myself praying that no one leaves a cart around my car unless it’s contained. I paid a lot of money for it and don’t want it to be damaged by lazy employees or for that fact management that cannot delegate assignments. I say something EVERY TIME I GO AND NOTHING IS DONE !!!

Not sure if Wal-Mart as a whole has given up, or if this is just one of many locations that are understaffed and poorly run. On the rare occasion that I do shop at Wal-Mart, my expectations are low, but North Dirksen takes the cake. Every single time I’m there, almost every section of the store looks like a tornado went through it. Staff is few and far between, shopping carts are akimbo all across the lot, trash is visible and frequent throughout the store, and there is usually no more than 2 check out lanes open which means the self check out areas are also backed up. The atmosphere is somewhat like the wild west, but with a more prevalent sense of depression and a more likely chance you’ll end up with dysentery.

The best part is the balding cart guy that smokes actual crack in the parking lot. Sometimes you’ll get lucky and find him looking under your vehicle when you come out to put your groceries in your vehicle like I did today. Typical Northside vibes.

What a shock, Walmart employees have no customer service skills. Our cashier decided she needed to lotion her hands halfway though checking us out, not only did she not have any lotion, she had to call a friend over to give her some, but she took her sweet time applying, like she had nothing better to do. She only had 4 more of my items left to scan. What a joke. I would be embarrassed to work for this company.

Severely dissatisfied with the cashiers and self checkout staff. We had one item that needed removed after scanning our groceries. We waited for assistance for a minute then looked for help so we could go home, but the self checkout associates where no where to be found. When approaching cashiers (both of which had no one in their lines and on their phones) they logged out of their machines quickly and made a straight line for their employee break room. We left our groceries and had to go to a different store. Go to Aldi’s or Meijer’s is my suggestion.

Placed an order online for pick up. Received notification that item was no longer available and order was cancelled. Later that same day I was in store shopping and not only did they have my item in stock there were several of them! What kind of lazy employees do u have that can’t even do something as simple as process an online order? Makes one wonder how often this happens.

Seeing as it’s all self checkout now, I’ve never been stopped once or questioned for doing the job of a cashier for which I’m not paid for which is the only reason this gets a +2 stars otherwise almost anything that’s supposed to be on shelves isn’t until months later or employees hover at self checkout to sneak 5 star themselves or I even have heard employees bribe children with candy for a higher score on the self checkout when all they’re doing is tanding there to make sure you do their job.

Not much to say about this place it’s the same their always out of stuff the shelves are always bare and you never can find anyone to help you that work there.
People that don’t work there help each other. It’s a sad place I hate to say but it is and with them having self check outs their should be more people to help you on the floor and people keeping the shelves stocked.
