Recently I purchased a large sandwich tray..lg slider tray…cake & cupcakes for a baby shower. From the start with the ordering to the finished products every step was perfect. The clerks were friendly & helpful…even calling me later to suggest a change in the cake decor which was awesome! The sandwiches/sliders not only looked great they tasted great too as did the bakery items. I will definitely use this Walmart again & recommend it highly! Thanks much!

Very pleasent visit. A worker there was standing by some glass. And she kept ensuring my safety. And made me go around so I would not get her. Great customer service.

I went inside and grabbed all of my groceries and went to check out. I was using a chase card and it kept denying me. I asked for assistance and it continued to deny my card. I eventually had to leave the store empty handing because of the faulty systems. I would give a better review than one star, but if I left empty handed which means that this store is not a functioning grocery store. There shouldn’t be a case where customers are forced to leave because of faulty systems.

I am always wishing to visit a Walmart that is different from the norm. So far, no such luck. As usual, the items are priced lower than other stores but their service is usually bad. On top of this, they now want customers to check themselves out at the register. The shelves are sparse on a lot of items and there is rarely anyone around to assist.

Staff is helpful, but they’re clearly outnumbered and overwhelmed. It’s a big space— hire more people! The workers are great, and always helpful… but they can’t be everywhere at once.

There pharmacy tech’s are rude and inconsiderate. I had surgery yesterday and brought my pain medicine to be filled was only ten pills. Was told it would be 1&1/2 hours and I would receive a text. I dropped it at 2:00 pm I called at 5:40 because still no text. The woman said they’d be ready in 20 minutes I asked if she was sure so I would not drive for nothing just having surgery her words were “I just have to count them out I said 20 minutes. “ Not I’m sorry it took song sir or anything. Customer service like this is very unprofessional and unacceptable in a pharmacy.

As with any busy holiday(Christmas ’22), the store was packed! Pallets of empty merchandise containers blocking aisles is the reason of 4 stars only.

Their prices fall upward and they don’t have alot of things sometimes. When you need help you can’t find it, but the front checkout associates are always nice and have a smile on their face; they should get a raise. Thank you Sharron, Lorna, Naurma and Jeanette

While this store seems to be one of the earlier adopters of self-checkouts, which was very clean but very under stocked compared to the newer attempts at getting you to buy all kinds of extra things at the register, our go-to 99 cent bottle of Advil was not there. And we needed to get some more cash out after we paid for everything. So we ended up having to go to another register and buy a bag of ice, to get another hundred dollars out of the machine.

By the way we don’t really like self checkouts, I didn’t go through training class, to be a cashier, I don’t sign a W-4 every year, I don’t get a paycheck for checking my own groceries … So we’re not a big fan of those. Especially when there’s one woman or man running the self checkouts, and there’s eight people standing at the door checking receipts. Seems like a serious unbalanced of human assets.

The big negative for us was the fact that the food section were oddly placed we had to go back and forth from Isle to isle. For example finding tortillas was difficult until we got all the way to the back of the store and turned around and the word tortillas is on the moniker above the aisle that we passed they didn’t have tortillas on the other side. If that makes sense to you. On one side it says peanut butter jelly is sauces condiments on the other side it says tortillas. Weird.

Our normal Walmart shop normally takes about 35 minutes, this one took a little over an hour because we had to go back and forth and back and forth. Not to mention I could not find extension cords anywhere in the hardware section. And there was nobody there to for me to ask. So I gave up. Well this Walmart was probably one of the cleaner ones we’ve been to, at least crowded, the floor layout for the grocery section was confusing at best.

I have another question why do they put boxed milk of one brand in the baking aisle, and box milk of another brand near the Latin foods? Why aren’t the box milk together? When you’re traveling on the highway and cook an elaborate meal everyday, in lieu of going out and eating commercial products from a restaurant that was packaged by a bunch of warehouse workers in who knows what kind of conditions from companies like sysco, boxed lactose-free milk is awesome to have in the cupboard. It doesn’t have to be refrigerated until you open it. It comes lactose-free. It has a long shelf life. And it’s square so it stacks good and easy and if it falls over in the cupboard, nobody gets hurt.

The best thing that happened in this Walmart was how friendly the cashier was that was helping 12 people at the same time check themselves out. I think her name was Jordyn. I apologize to the young lady if I got her name mixed up with another. But yeah there was nobody in the store that answer any questions or to help us find anything.

The store is nice the help is noce though sometimes hard to find and speaking of find most things now a days have to be ordered online so getting things there is well and good but it seems that you might as well just shop online with that said i do and will still shop at the physical store

If I could rate it 0 stars I would. I live close by to this Walmart and would rather drive all the way across town just to go to a different one. I don’t know how the ordering works, but it seems like I can never find what I need and the shelves are always half empty every time I go. I just went in with a list of around 20 times and were out of every single one. It’s very dirty and unorganized, doesn’t ever feel very welcoming when I do go. I don’t know if it’s because I work at a very clean grocery store somewhere else, but it’s very noticeable to me how horrible it is, especially the produce. Everywhere I went in the department, there were rotten fruits and vegetables in it. I was going to get a pumpkin for my little brother to carve and nearly every pumpkin was soft and molding. On top of that, I went yesterday to get some last minute things, and the line for self checkout was almost to the other self checkout. But when you looked around, they had no cash registers open, and the other self checkout area was shutdown. If you are just passing by and need to stop somewhere, do yourself a favor and go to literally any other store in the lake Charles/sulphur area.

I went to this Walmart to get wings from their hot deli and saw that they had three big trays of different flavored wings I asked him if I could have 10 wings and they told me straight to my face they didn’t have any… Of course I was the wrong color and the wrong neighborhood. I went to the manager and told her and she just looked at me sideways… I see why this Walmart doesn’t get very much for traffic.. At least if you’re the wrong color. But then, I’ve often been accused of being white. The same thing happened to me a couple weeks ago at their tire shop.. hummm

I have two positives for this store: the restrooms are clean, and the greeter was friendly and helpful. Trying to find a store employee to help me was a problem, and when I could finally get someone’s attention, they look at you like you’re wasting their time. I even had one employee look at me, turn around, and walk away. Oh, and the parking lot could use someone to pick up litter.

It’s one of the nicer ran walmart stores in the area… But it is Walmart after all, so probably stocked on most items you would be looking for, not usually as long await to get help as some of the other stores. But being Walmart probably consistent with your typical pet peeves.

If I had zero star option I would have given it. Paid for deliver (paying for Walmart plus). I watched my app, email, texts. Zero delivered after I agreed to exceptions! On the phone with corporate for almost 3 hours and their option???! Pick up the next day!
