This Best Buy is terrible very bad management, I don’t know how it can have 4 stars. I was looking for a Monitor and I asked an employee and he answered that they don’t have it when he didn’t even look to see if they had it before giving an answer. By chance I found 3 monitors that they supposedly didn’t have… Talking to a Manager was like talking to no one because his response was “I didn’t see it, I can’t do anything, I’m sorry for the inconvenience”… after that I had been waiting almost 4 months for them to tell me fix my phone and honestly it’s worse than how I gave it to them. The person before me had an issue, so the wait was long, and no one else opened. When I worked retail, we were trained to call for assistance if we had an issue, so others don’t have to wait. Bags are ten cents each? I did not see signage for this, and they had to ring me up again for a bag. They are also blasting music over the intercom. I get it, trying to appeal to youth. The cashiers lie on customers and managers don’t listen to customers. I try my best not to shop with Amazon however the customer service is better and Amazon listens to the customer when you have an issue. Best Buy your days are numbered with the way you are running shop. I saw at least 10+ employees socializing then on top of that rude like you are disturbing their play time. I will never purchase here again as I am out of my time and gas as well as the item I paid for and was refused by the manager on duty Jerry. He was to busy telling me to “GET OUT” oh his store. They kept the item and refused me a refund. Now I’m out of $61.59 and then only to be yelled at and told to get out of the store. Amazon would never. Brick and mortar stores will be a thing of the past as no one should have to be treated inhumane. Your employees are as good as the manager so I understand why I was treated like I was inconveniencing all of the talking, and playing around in the store. Excellent customer service; you are made to feel welcome as soon as you enter the store; I have never had to go looking for an associate for assistance; someone is always accessible, no matter how busy the business is. Best Buy has good items to buy. The staff does work hard and the location is good.
The problems with Best Buy are the Geek Squad and their customer service. The Geek Squad does not fix everything and if you do get a refund with them your Geek Squad yearly service is terminated. The customer service on the phone is terrible. I ask the representative can she transfer me to the Geek Squad on Roosevelt in Chicago and she said she could not do it. I would have to go to the store for them to tend to me. They had a great selection of computer systems at different price points, so I was able to find something that fit my budget. The staff were also able to explain the different features and capabilities of the systems, which helped me to make an informed decision.

As a business owner I tend to be a critical shopper. I want to say I have always had a great experience at this Best Buy store. But the other day was particularly awesome. I worked with Patrick, one of the associates there who asked me if I needed help while in the magnolia section. I had a lot of questions about premium audio (I knew what I wanted, just not what product reflected it). Patrick was knowledgeable, light on his feet, quick to ask others for resources, and had personal experience with many of the products. I felt like I was talking to a genuine expert, and I dare say he is.
I buy online when I know what I want, I come to stores when I want expertise – and Patrick delivered with the knowledge and patience of a high-end audio boutique, unfazed by the fact I was wearing flip flops and workout clothes.
I ended up spending hundreds more than I expected on a product I was truly sure I wanted, and I bought with confidence. I was not led astray. The product sold is stupendous.For quality care, patience, knowledge, personal experience, and resource utilization, Patrick deserves a gold star and a raise, and has made me a loyal customer of the Elston Best Buy store. I was unable to call the store due to the Best Buy system of having all calls routed through their call center. Fortunately I was able to bike down there and Mitch and Edwin found the corresponding remote so I am now happily watching my awesome new TV. For me it was a very convenient paring. I ordered a a TV during prime days and I picked it up at Best Buy. I had no clue this one existed.They have plenty of parking in an attached lot. Plus spots for picking up large items.
The store is very clean and well stocked. The staff was very helpful, one even walked my tv to the car.
Everything should be this easy.

A year ago I came back to update a couple items add a Savant system and repair a few important things that have worn out over time. 16 months ago, I paid over $26,000, and I’m still not installed. It is absolutely not possible to get my project finished. They’ve been “working on it” the whole time & I’d say it’s still less than 60% complete. Good employees however the management should stop pushing the sales people to shove the warranties behind the customers back. One “NO” should be enough but I was pitched again with the same darn lecture of buying a warranty by the department manager. Very frustrating waste of time when you are busy and have to go back to work. Actual place was well kept and products were easy to locate. When we opened it, we immediately noticed the screen was shattered. We brought it back right after to exchange it and the associates told us it was our fault and would not do anything about it, after explaining to them that absolutely nothing happened to it in our hands. $700 later we are left with a shattered 75″ TV and nowhere to keep it. We bought a stove from this store. They scheduled a delivery and we had a written confirmation email about the delivery date and time. No one showed up. Calling to bestbuy goes to their direct 1-800 line where no-one seem to have an answer. My wife goes to the store and they can’t explain it either but they re-scheduled it for one week later. We get another email to have a delivery confirmation. We stay home on the date of delivery and no one shows up again. Called them and associate has no good answer, all she can say is, sorry for the inconvenience. We asked when can we get the delivery of the item we have purchased? They have no guaranteed answer. Got another email this morning for the delivery next week and now we are traveling….Leaving without a stove since last 3-4 weeks and have no clue when BEST-BUY will deliver this.
