However, they each continued to invite other customers to the register but once they checked out their customers they walked away and tried to look busy ( only standing around talking). I ordered a tv open box in excellent condition for a fairly small discount. They brought out a bubble wrapped tv with the bottom plastic of the tv sitting directly on the metal grate of the cart. There was no remote, power cord, or any documentation. I feel stupid for wasting my time driving to this store. I am a fan of Amazon, but Best Buy offers something that I do not believe Amazon offers, which is a turnkey operation which saved me from figuring g out how to do the tech work (which I do not enjoy, and do not understand well). I gladly paid to join the total technical support plan at $200/year, which provides an in-house warranty and assures me that if anything goes wrong, or if I need other equipment installed, it will be done at no further cost. Basically holding the PlayStation hostage unless I spent another $200 for nothing I needed. They said it was a company wide policy but went to another best buy the same day and they sold me one no problem with no extra fees.
Don’t let them try to extort you, go to another best buy for in demand items.

Also, there weren’t that many customers in the store. The staff seem more concerned about monitoring shoplifters than helping customers. I ordered 4 video games for pickup with 2 different pickup dates. Both times, my brand new wrapped games had the curbside pick up stickers stuck directly to the product. This is a horrible idea for parents of children that still believe in Santa! You literally have to open the brand new product in order to remove the stickers with all of your info on them! Best Buy is proudly displaying selling the AirPods Pro at 179$ sending to cashier to get and pay. At checkout the lady provide them and ask 249$. I point out the price shown was 179$. She does not believe it, I show the picture and she said this might be the old model and they only have the new one. Not a slight try to apologize. She insists me to buy them and shows to be surprised when I refuse. The first time the employees were standing around laughing and chatting with one another. They ignored the customers and continued to enjoy one another. We walked out took deep breaths and went to have a meal. After our meal we returned. This time I had my mind ready to correct if the staff behavior was similar to earlier that day. However we were greeted by a much better attitude once I explained experience a couple of hours prior. The gentleman that served us during our shopping tour was apologetic and very on point. They have renovated this Best Buy in Alpharetta, Georgia. It is very nice inside and people are very helpful. I worked an event here and they helped me find my way around this store, in the warehouse and even helped me sell products I’m truly grateful and you’re gonna love the new renovations that they made. Employees were all very friendly and helpful. They mentioned the renovation was supposed to be done by Nov 17, but seems like it will be delayed. It’s going to be interesting entering shopping season/Black Friday in this way as guests won’t be able to browse the store. When I spoke with an associate he basically said he understand my concern but this is an issue with the wharehouse people that stock the shelves.
