    1st time visiting. Lovely environment. The sales people were very nice. It was closing time and they assisted me I’m finding everything I needed. Living in Philadelphia, this was my nicest Walmart shopping trip I have ever had. Go Duluth!

    It’s a Walmart so I don’t have high standards for this place by any means. I shop here solely for convenience. Service is always sub par at best. I would however like to give a shout out to Rachel ( she appeared to be the head cashier or manager on duty ) / I can tell she was tired and just ready for bed like anyone else working in the corporate retail world . But she shows up and does her job. She had to re ring my entire order for me , a fully loaded cart . At that . I’d like to compliment how swiftly and how gracefully she handled everything . After the previous cashier made a mistake that resulted in my card being ran 8x .
    Needless to say I was annoyed . But I was very pleased how it was corrected.

    As I stood at customer service for at least five minutes with no one showing up, I had the apparent audacity to ask an employee if someone was working the customer service center. She advised me in an exceptionally condescending and annoyed tone that the employee who was working customer service was helping someone with an online order and would be back. My apologies for taking a moment of that employees time which was better spent playing with a shopping basket with another employee. The employee who eventually returned to help me was great though so that helped.

    The grocery department could use a little different configuration. Some items should be in different aisles than they currently are.
    I did not know there was an item limit on belt self checkout, but apparently I hit it 🤣

    First off, I enjoy Walmart. I shop here a lot, and I love using my app too. Prices are usually the best and I usually find everything I need here. But, the other day changed my opinion. It started when I was told by an employee I must pay for some beauty items at that moment, at her register before I could continue my shopping trip. ouldn’t find an employee anywhere who could help me utilize my giftcards with my phone. So I purchased all the food with EBT at a self check-out while an employee stood in front of me and just stared. Swaying back n forth, watching my everymove. So I put my groceries and all my unpaid for cash items in the cart and went to the fast self-checkout area to find an employee to help me use these cards, only to end up waiting for a supervisor and missing my bus. Then this supervisor accused me of stealing my groceries, and loudly demanded my reciept with customers now hearing it all. I felt humiliated and targeted. She kept telling me one gift card was invalid, but I knew it wasn’t. Finally I tossed my half paid for items down, and told her to take it all back. I expressed I wasnt a theif they were accusing me of, that Im a hard working customer who pays for what I take off the shelf. Honest customers are what is giving the employer a reason to employ people for their positions. I left furious, making the point they just lost a 20+ year patron, and how Walmart will be lucky if I even shop online there again. They let me leave with my purchased food in tears. All I needed was help, trying to pay for my stuff with valid gift cards. Ones I ended up using a short time after I got home. I get they are having issues with theft latel. So hire more security. Watch cameras behind the scenes rather than have cashiers make ppl feel like they’re doing wrong. Patrons shouldnt be treated like theives and trash without just cause. Ill never go back there and shop agian. Maybe online…but I will not be treated horribly like this a second time. Walmart Inc….man-up, take this extra weight off your cashiers, and hire a qualified security team to properly and professionally handle your shoplifters. We all know you can afford to. Do it before you gain a reputation for this kinda of service.
