They are the most professional and caring employees at this location. The GM is always available and caring about the clients that come in and out of the location. My experience there has always been top tier and pleasant. It makes the full experience of going to a Target enjoyable. When you have employees that care like Jerry (GM) and Mario it’s always a pleasure to go. I live in the north side and drive downtown just to get treated the way you deserve to be. Couldn’t ask for a more better experience ! Thank you Target River north.

One of my favorite smaller targets. This locations staff is great and the selections are decent for it being one of the smaller stores. You won’t be disappointed at this location.

April at the checkout is amazing! She has quickly become a staple in the neighborhood and in my week. She knows so many people that shop here and remembers us all. She is always friendly, funny, kind and helpful. I’ve been going here since it opened, and she makes it feel like a neighborhood shop. Thankful to have this great spot with great employees.

    We love our Target 🎯
This store is small, but it has everything you need. Smaller selections but still great.
We got all our essentials with smiley faces and clean isles.

What a great idea! The amazingness of Target condensed and boiled down as a convenient, inner city store.

It is much smaller than a traditional Target, but they strive to have all the necessities you might need when visiting Chicago or if you live there. There is a grocery section and a dry goods section.

The staff was super friendly, and we enjoyed the Starbucks inside.

Very rude employees, almost makes me not want to return which is such a shame since this target is so big and convenient. The women working the self checkout need to do some serious customer service training. Asked for help with self checkout and the elder big Caucasian lady purposely gave a dirty look and looked away. She turned as if she didn’t see me and sent a different woman who then rolled her eyes the entire time helping me and nodded her head as if she was in disgust. I’ve never felt so disrespected by an employee somewhere I give so much of my money to! I didn’t come back for a couple weeks up until a couple days ago. And behold there was a different rude woman standing in self checkout. If you’re that miserable working at target then you shouldn’t be working there period. Your employees never fail to ruin my morning when I stop at this location. Hire better staff target! I will be sending an email to corporate with more details because this is ridiculous. I spend so much money at this store to be treated poorly by your employees, it isn’t right, do better. It used to not be like this.

A wonderful, clean, fully stocked store that has a good amount of seasonal or holiday inventory. Great place to get into the spirit of the season (at the beginning of summer they have lots of patio and outdoor items, in September they have a large Halloween display, etc.) The lines are not too long.

The cashier at the guest services counter walked up a few minutes after we waited in line with make up in her hand. As she stranded there, instead of calling us up front she went to ask the other guest service cashier which color foundation looks better in her. Then was rude are whole check out. On top of that sent us to a huge line on a lane because we had 6 items and said she can only take people with 5 items.
Will not be coming back and will be writing a horrible review

Was in this store tonight to kill time while my car was getting work done on it. I had a drawstring bag with me because I just finished at the gym across the street. An undercover asset protection team member basically stalked me the entire time I was in the store to the point that I felt extremely uncomfortable with shopping.

I got some nice clothes that were on clearance, I probably would have shopped other areas of the store but was creeped out to the point where I ended my shopping and sat in the Starbucks to wait for my car to finish getting repaired.

They either have a rampant shoplifting problem or are simply profiling people based on age and ethnicity as shoplifters. You can tell by how they look at everyone which will include you if you don’t look geriatric.

There is a rotund and incredibly awkward floor manager that tries to entice people to use the self checkout who is visibly confused when people don’t want to get near him.

If you want to have an awkward time in an even more awkward layout (which never seems updated according to where things should be, but aren’t, per the app) come on down to this target. Get a free bonus of irritation and racial profiling with every purchase!

They have free parking and I’m glad that I’m easily park my car since there are few cars in the parking lot. I’m amazed how clean their flooring was when I entered. They have different selections of their products. Some of their inventory was not organized and some inventory was empty and some had only a few products left. I can see a few staff in this place. They are busy doing their task. I’m roaming around the store since I’m not familiar with this place because it’s my first time here. Some of their products are expensive and some are cheaper. Oh their brass looks comfortable so I bought 2 pairs of bras. I also bought one blouse since I find it cute and comfortable to wear. I want to buy a dress but I have enough money in my pocket. I will definitely be back here and buy the dress that I like.

Juan Sanchez whom I always seem to bump into in the electronics department is the absolute BEST!!! Always efficient, patient, kind and very polite. A true gentleman and the epitome of what excellent and above and beyond customer service should be! Please commend/acknowledge him for the incredible service he provides every time! He truly makes my trip to this specific location a gem!

I like this target – always stocked, mostly organized, etc. However, whenever I bring my dog in here, I am immediately told that I can’t have her with me because she is not a service dog. This has happened twice already. However, I always see others shopping with their dogs at this particular store. I went shopping this evening and, sure enough, saw a dog, who was not a service dog, casually shopping with its owner – and SEVERAL associates walked by the dog and it’s owner. I asked a cashier if only service dogs were allowed in the store and she confirmed it was true.
And I’m pretty sure we all know why this has happened

This store is larger than other Target stores in the area. Had some very helpful staff members and some who didn’t know their way around.
    Overall found what I needed.

It’s exactly what you’d expect from Target. Pretty good selection and usually well-stocked. the worker here has done a great job of making it a quick and easy process.
