I saw an employee in the drive up area and pulled into a spot and asked her if she would be able to get my item for me. She went and got it and saved me from having to get my son out of the car. This is a place from the past. The family owned department store with long term dedicated employees and a generational family that cares about them and the community. Could I have bought what I purchased cheaper? Sure. Maybe I could have saved $2-4 going to a big box but it is worth haveing the experience of someone being really appreciative that I took the time to come it. I was not just a customer, I was person, not a statistic like in a big box.
Their store in downtown Tupelo was great. This was my first visit and it won’t be my last. The employees were friendly and the variety of items for purchase was great. They were busy at the time we went (don’t know if that’s how they are all the time or not) but the employees seemed happy and cared.
The staff members were extremely helpful, and they have a vast selection of merchandise. The fact that they also gift wrap is just icing on an already sweet cake.
