To be completely honest I didn’t used to be a big fan of Best buy it seemed like they put the hard sell on only the “high end” products. If you just wanted a non branded item that was lower price you had to go all the way to the back of the store on the bottom shelf hidden somewhere out of sight. Seems that paradigm has shifted at least at this store.

This Best buy has a Magnolia sound room in it which makes all the difference if you are shopping for A/V speakers or receivers and want to listen to them. I don’t know anywhere else close that offers a sound room. They also have Polk and Klipsch displays on the main floor.

Staff I engaged with were knowledgeable and friendly. Store was well organized. Great shopping experience 🙂

Update dec 2022. Maybe it was a while back and I’m slow on the realization but they have revamped the store. Car audio is closer to the front, sound room has moved and no longer called Magnolia. Entire store feels more open and more carefully laid out. Some new product displays for eBikes and other products.

Sales associate Miles is amazing! His manager should give him a bonus. I was debating between a big purchase at Sam’s Club vs. Best Buy. Miles took the time to walk me through my options and compare and contrast features of different models. Mikes answered all of my questions and taught me about great features I wasn’t aware of. Thank you Miles for all that you do! I’ll definitely come back again just to see Miles! Thank you for your professionalism and kindness.

My name is Meredith and visited the the buy in Annapolis, MD today to purchase a externa; hard drive so I can back up important document s for my business. The Tech Expert named C greeted me outside with a friendly smile, professionalism, expertise and extremely prompt amazing service. He consulted and guided me with a great quality external hard drive with a great price point. His dedication to excellent customer service reflects great credit upon himself and the Best Buy brand. He is the epitome of excellence and true professionalism! My overall rating undoubtedly is 5 stars without hesitating. C deserves the biggest raise and recognition/honorable mention for his amazing friendly service and professionalism. Thanks Best Buy for hiring this jewel of an employee to represent your magnificent brand, who undoubtedly cause it to flourish consistently! :o)

Gonna he great after the remodel. Until then, you’re greeted at the door and escorted to your purchase. Some ares are still under construction and are off limits to customers. That being said, the staff is very knowledgeable and eager to help.

Do yourself a favor and just buy your stuff from Target or Amazon. I called to make sure they understood my return so I wouldn’t have to go over there for nothing. Apparently my call went to a call center and the store told me they “aren’t able to process my return” which is funny because on the phone I was told otherwise. The guy at the counter got a manager who came up with another reason to say they couldn’t do it. I would say get it together Best Buy but honestly what’s the point?…good reminder of why I stopped shopping here. Hope keeping the $20ish for my return was worth it to them.

My grandfather always informed me that whenever you make a new purchase, always get the extended warranty with it. Some of us have to learn the hard way… 🤷🏾💭👎🏾

Now I know better, I’ve learned my lesson and for now on most of my purchases are from Best Buy. And I do make sure I get the “Geek Squad” extended warranty. 👍🏾

Recently, I had a couple of products that I wanted to upgrade. Because of my extended warranty I was able to do so. And Cesar at the Best Buy in Owens Mills was very helpful in making that transaction for me.

I’ve recommended Best Buy to my children as well as my family and friends.

Well, if you are in the market for a new TV, you’d better buckle up! Our 60” 7 yr. old Samsung started with an issue of a dark line across the screen (see 1st pic), so I started researching the myriad of televisions made. Also, tv repair guy told me “don’t expect to get more than 5-7 yrs. out of these new TV’s”. WHAT? At these prices, that’s all you get?!?!

I checked out Best Buy and bought a 70” TLC, online with curbside pickup. Went last Sunday and picked it up, brought it home, had Jules Ann help me unbox it, put the brackets on the back, hooked everything up, hung it on the wall and NO PICTURE!! Just hard lines!! See 2nd pic!! Called Best Buy, and was told to bring it back for another or exchange/upgrade.

Took back, was greeted by their front door guy, who was awesome! He put me in contact with a guy from the TV department and “Shawn” explained about 600 TV’s in great detail! There are SO many choices and SO many prices, my head was spinning! He really did a great job with listening to my budget and telling me about all the options. He said 70” TV’s are most companies low end options and really recommend coming up to 75” or going down to 65”. I opted to go BIGGER with a 75” Sony. Also, best to stay “name brand” when choosing a new TV.

So, that $500 TLC quickly went to a $999 Sony and I opted for the 5 yr. protection plan, even though I know it will break on the 5 yr. 1 week mark!! Anyway, $1,200 and 24 months 0% interest to pay it off and it is GREAT!!

Now, if you go for it, you will find 4K is the “big deal” now. And, after I got it, delivered this time, and Julie and I once again, hooked it up and hung it on the wall, the picture was good, but not “awesome”. So, I looked into this whole 4K thing and found we weren’t even recieving a 4K signal. I called Xfinity and was told “Oh yes Mr. Jeff, we will have to send you out a box for that. And, Mr. Jeff you will be happy to know this is a FREE box and comes with Peacock, a $4.99 a month value, also FREE.” Now, he must have dealt with me in the past, because I do like FREE, but I felt it necessary to remind him that “we pay $300 a month for cable, internet and landlines” (yes, with my Mother here, we have landlines), he quickly told me “Yes, Mr. Jeff, I see you have been a very loyal customer and I will credit your account the $15 for shipping the new 4K box 📦 out to you.” I said “Thanks, but I was really hoping to get this before the Super Bowl, since we are having a small gathering.” He said he would “get a rush on it” and damn if it did show up today!!

I have hooked up this new 4K box, to the new 4K TV and WOW, it is INCREDIBLE!!! Basketball, Golf and the Olympics all look outstanding!! I’m sure football will be the same!! Movies are also looking GREAT!! I mean, who doesn’t like a BIGGER TV?!?

I would definitely recommend Best Buy and I used the one in Ownings Mills, Maryland. Ask for Shawn, he knows his TV’s.

Every time that I visit this store it gets worse and worse with customer service. Today, I went in to grab my new printer and recycle my old one. I started in the pickup line because it was shorter and I figured they could just take my recycle as well. Got acknowledged by the security guy as he was going to retrieve someone else’s curbside pickup. Three associates were ringing guest up in the main checkout/customer service line. All three of those team members came back and forth past me several times without acknowledgment. Only saying excuse me. After 10 minutes of no other acknowledgment or help, I decided to get in the other line since all associates were helping that line only. As soon as I did one went home for the day and the other went to go help the pickup line. Instead of recognizing that I had already been in the pickup line for more than 10 minutes and helping me he helped another customer that came in after me. Now the main line was down to just one associate and she was stuck on the same customer that she was helping when I walked in the door. All the while, the main line that I moved to now has 6 to 8 additional customers behind me. The associate that left decided the help a couple more pickup customers and then came to help me. I told him I needed to recycle my old printer and pickup my new one. He did the recycle and then told me I had to get in the other line for the pickup. I politely said no I am not doing that, I have already been in that line for 10 minutes and this one for another 15+, you can help me here. He did so reluctantly. The entire time I was there each associate had to go back and forth between areas to get things, help people. They didn’t have what they needed to do their job in their work area. This is a horrible setup for you associates. You are failing them in an already bad situation. The store was dirty and had stuff sitting everywhere. I miss the old Best Buy. Hopefully the fix it soon.

I think the employees here are great, and I have very fond memories of this store from when I was younger – however, recently with a (probably company-wide) decision to focus more on online sales, the store seems bereft of good product. Both in quantity and quality, there seems a real decline in materials and has made this a place I go very rarely. Again, the employees are very friendly, so this isn’t about them. They get 5 stars.

I want to share my gratitude to Moe, member of the Geek Squad, at Best Buy of Owings Mills. I brought my new iPhone 14 pro max in with texting issues and a calling issue related to my old phone. Moe was quick, efficient, and very informative as he stepped me through the adjustments that were needed. His expertise made my visit short and painless. His recommendation regarding my Verizon. question was also extremely insightful and helpful. No stress at all! Thanks, Moe!

The best delivery experience we have ever had. Our delivery men Javier and Franklin were very professional. I would give them a 100! They set up the range and even made sure all of the burners came on. I received email, text and personal phone call that they would be at my house in 30 min. I love my new stove!

Our refrigerator needs a part, so in the meantime, I downloaded the Best Buy app, searched for mini fridges that were available for pickup today. I chose one, selected curbside pickup, paid for it on the app. I got an text and and email when it was ready. I drove to the Best Buy, parked, clicked to curbside pickup link from the email, and waited. An employee came out with my mini fridge in less than 5 minutes, confirmed my order number, and put the mini fridge in my trunk. When my husband got home, he and our son brought it into the house. We unwrapped it, plugged it in, and put our perishables inside. The user guide said it will take 4 hours to get fully cold, but we can feel it is already getting cold after 30 minutes.

The whole experience could not have been any easier. Thank you, Best Buy!

I mean it’s Best Buy! What more can you say? It was a little bit of a long wait to speak to anyone. They like everyone these days were short staffed. Our salesman was super apologetic. He was very young but you would have thought he worked there forever. He was amazingly knowledgeable. I don’t think we had one question that was unanswered & his recommendations were spot on. I am super happy with my purchases!

On 12/24 I went to my local Best Buy to return a defective television that I picked up 15 minutes prior. When I arrived, the store was not busy. The customer service center was closed and so I went to the register area for assistance. The cashiers at the register area were polite and offered to send someone out to my car to assist with bringing in the television. While trying to find someone to assist me with the television the acting managers (Tabitha) interrupted the conversation and informed me that I needed to take the television to geek squad. I said okay and went to retrieve the television from the car with the employees assistants. When we returned to the store the employee said “there is no one over there, so we will take it to checkout”. When we arrived he plugged in the television and he and the cashier inspected the television. After their inspection they both confirmed that there was no physical damage and that it seemed to be a defected purchase. Tabitha, the acting manager interrupted again and said, “we don’t usually take back defective items, but as a courtesy. I’ll do it this time.” I re she said.stated what she said and asked with no physical damage and a 5 yr protection plan your doing this as a courtesy? So, going forward I need to open every item I purchase in store to make sure it works before I leave? She replied, yes if you want to make sure it works.
Yeah, she said this with a straight face. As she sent me and the employee to geek squad to return the television. She than went to the door and sat down and talked with the security guard for about 30 minutes while the staff processed my return.
The staff at Geek Squad were great, that’s the only reason I’m giving them two stars.

This was one of the most stressful returns ever. I would not recommend this location at all; not even to pickup your items if you can avoid it, do so!!!!!!

Went into Best Buy today for a store pick-up. Standing at the counter An associate by the name of Tim walks by to print out A label. Didn’t acknowledge or ask me did I need assistance. He did this twice and I got the same result. So I walked to the security stand to ask for help and then I was assisted. By another associate who was helpful and did his job well.

Anything tech based, this place is the 1st place I look! They usually always have something similar or better than what I’m shopping for. The staff is always pleasant and willing to help!

Had to go twice in three days. First trip was not good. Shortage of sales clerks. When we finally got help, person seemed to have an attitude and was not very helpful. Had to go back today, and the service was great! Didn’t have to wait and the sales clerk was terrific, personable, helpful. What a difference. So my rating is an average of our two experiences.

I’ve been using Best Buy for a long time and I’ve never had an issue with their service. They’re not always the best value when I’m looking for a piece of tech, equipment, etc., but sometimes it’s worth paying a bit more for better customer service. Love their curbside pickup service btw.

It’s an okay, branch of Best Buy, They don’t have as much on display as some of the other branches but they have most of the items one would generally look for on display. Some of the staff are a bit stiff and difficult to interact with but still ok. Checkout/pickup is smooth like any other location

HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE service is why they are shutting stores left and right. Mind you, I am not speaking of the wonderful people that work there and answer the customer service line. I am speaking of Best Buy’s policy or whatever you want to call it. I ordered a $3,000 drone for MY BUSINESS on a Friday and was informed it would be delivered on Saturday. Great! I needed it for a job I had. Saturday at 2pm I get an email that it is being held up pending payment confirmation. What? I paid on a company credit card, what do I need to confirm. I called the “confirmation number” and guess what, they are closed on the weekend. I call customer service…3 agents later I am confirming the credit card. Okay great, guy tells me it will arrive on Sunday now. Well, that puts me on a tight schedule, but fine. THEN I get an email saying it will be delivered between Sun and Wed. Nope, that won’t work. I switch to curbside pick-up, actually go to the store about 3 hours later and the guy there tells me it is there, but not ready to be picked up. What? MY drone is there….literally sitting there and I can’t take it. Guy says I have to wait until email says I can pick it up. Okay, so now it is Monday at noon and still no email. I call customer service again and they say it is pending approval…WHAT is wrong with you Best Buy??? I will never and I mean NEVER purchase so much as a charging cord from you again. I will go to Amazon, because at least the deliver their items on time when they say they will. This is why Amazon is winning. This is why Best Buys are a ghost town. Again, the people that work there are helpful and on point, but what does it matter if Best Buy’s automated BS then holds your purchase hostage for three days…….

I hate to write reviews when I receive sub par service but I couldn’t ignore it.

I visited the store as soon as they opened. The store was pretty empty, appeared clean and well staffed.

An employee at the door greeted me as I was walking in.

I was in search of a desktop for my small business and went right over to the computers.

I stood in the computer section checking out the computers & comparing prices for almost 30mins and not one employee came to assist or asked if I needed help.

I glanced around in search of an associate and found one at a employee stand. He was assisting a woman. I stood behind her as to form a line so that I could wait my turn to ask him to help. He finished with her, looked me in the face and walked away. No greeting, he didn’t offer or ask if I needed help what so ever. I said, “excuse me” and he continued walking.

I took that as my sign and left the store.
The same employee that greeting me walking in, bid me farewell.

I’m not use to that at Best Buy. Typically when you go inside, there’s an associate in each area willing and ready to assist. If not, they see you standing alone and browsing and offer assistance. Maybe this is the new norm.

Do not make any major purchases from best buy. Horrible experience with our appliances order. Terrible customer service. They use a third party company to handle their deliveries but you can never speak to them. Their is no accountability, not even the store manager is able to help you once you make the purchase. Everyone passes the buck. Apparently they have major system issues. No one knows whats going on and there is never a supervisor. The sales rep Noah left a cell phone number but never answers or calls back. Originally gave delivery date with 7am-1 1pm window frame, the delivery company cancelled at 12:30pm. Then I was rescheduled to a few days later for drop off only, apparently rep forgot to schedule the install. Had to now reschedule install for a few more days later. Installer comes only to advise unable to complete install and would have to upgrade electrical panel. Had panel upgraded and installed microwave ourselves. Now waiting on fridge to be delivered. Received confirmation phone call the night before confirming delivery. Fridge delivery day came – same thing 7am-1pm window and no one showed so I called at 1pm and the rep told me they were running a few minutes behind. 4pm still no one. Called and next rep proceeded to tell me my item was never sent out for delivery and that I would need to reschedule. Claims they are sending me a $250 best buy gift card but I am afraid to buy anything from here again and we will see if that even ends up coming.

The Best Buy in White Marsh is top notch. The store itself is clean and inviting with all electronics easy to find. I visited to buy a drone but wanted to finance it and the young man who helped me open up a Best Buy Visa was really helpful and friendly and got me approved super fast. I left a happy guy from Best Buy and would definitely shop here in the future.

I brought a laptop to find out the cost of fixing it. The Best Buy staff member who helped me told me that it was not worth fixing. I got a private person to easily fix it. I am usually able to find the items that they carry somewhere else for less.

All I came in for was a display port cable. None of the aisles are labeled so I couldn’t find it. Ended up in the TV section. The staff member told me to go to computers. Later I finally found it myself and he walked over and pointed at them while helping another customer. So he was willing to help some people but not others. I wonder what was wrong with me that I couldn’t be allowed the same service. Kind of insulting after he wouldn’t help me find them.

The staff also pointed out an HDMI to display port so it was the wrong item. The size I needed said it was in stock but not on the shelf. I tried to find someone to get it for me but I just couldn’t. The other one they have is $10 more than everywhere else.

Once I realized I wasn’t going to be helped or be able to find what I need myself I left. It’s less hassle to order it online or go to another store at this point.

Last time I’ll ever shop at a Best Buy.
