A big nice store but you can stay there for hours without anyone to help you :/.
Even when the products beep they don’t show up.By Raiane Youssef (5 months ago)Had the most awkward and strange interaction with an employee as my boyfriend and I walked to our cars. We walked in the store, purchased beats headphones and went to the back so my boyfriend could use the restroom. The kid that rung us up was fine and so was the lady at the entrance. The issue that we had was when we were walking out, this middle aged guy with black hair starts to follow my boyfriend and I and insinuates that we were in the store for too long (we were only there for 10 minutes$. He keeps making remarks insinuating that we stole and kept trying to look at my receipt. He even went as far as saying he rung us up which wasn’t true, I didn’t see that guy at all in the store. I eventually allowed him to see my receipt and he tried to play it off like everything is okay. He didn’t even apologize for inconveniencing us. Best buy needs to better train this staff and have a better protocol to approach paying customers. I never felt so disrespected like I did yesterday. Legitimately unless you want to waste 3 hours of your life don’t set foot in this store. I ordered a iPhone 13 online and had it ready for store pickup, however when I got there they didn’t have a SIM card attached to the phone and they wandered around looking for it for 30 minutes. Then I had an issue with my backup and they wanted me to pay $50 extra bucks for them to transfer my data instead of doing an iCloud backup? I said absolutely not nobody has ever charged me for that before. So I left and decided to figure out the backup issue on my own. I come back and go up to the same place i came last time to try pickup again. They say they don’t have it. Ask me multiple times for my name. They finally find it, i get the phone, trade in my phone, walk out of the store. Get to my car and realize they didn’t ever get me a new SIM card. Go back into the store, literally spend another hour and a half trying to connect a new SIM to my AT&T account. I get home, trying to finish setting up my phone, find out they connected my new phone to a different phone number on my AT&T account… Still trying to get it fixed. I would estimate that we spend 40 to 50 K each year just on computers and drones for our company. The store had absolutely zero customer service, I waited for an hour for somebody to show up for the drone & nobody ever showed up (I checked with 3 workers who conveniently has no keys to access the drones but assured us someone was coming)…
The line to check out apparently had some major worker type function and everybody just left out of the line put their product back on the shelf and left the store, which is what I ended up having to do as well. My time is very limited & this was a complete waste of my time. If I could give 0 stars, I would. We’ve never dealt with a more incompetent company than Manada Tech. We ordered a Samsung refrigerator from Best Buy and scheduled the delivery for 9/12. We emptied the old freezer and refrigerator about 3 hours before they arrived. By the time they got there, it started drizzling. Not raining. Drizzling.
They had no problem unloading the new fridge and putting it in the garage from the road. My mother took one of them inside to show them what needed to be done. They were to haul away the fridge in the garage, move the one from the house to the garage, and install the new one. Suddenly, the rain was just too much and they couldn’t finish installing the refrigerator that was ALREADY IN THE GARAGE.
One of the installers was horribly rude and it was clear that he couldn’t care less about the fact that we had over $1000 of food rotting in our garage. I wonder what the excuse would’ve been had they showed up 10 minutes earlier with no rain.
It gets better. We rescheduled the delivery for today. They showed up and there’s absolutely no way they can remove the refrigerator inside the house because of the fridge doors. They’d have to be removed and that just takes too much time to do the job they’re paid to do. But it was no problem to install it when we got it. Makes sense. My mother eventually told them to take the new fridge back and get out.
There is no way we will EVER recommend Manada Tech or Best Buy for any installations or purchases of any kind. You’ve wasted our time and money with your ridiculous practices and should be ashamed.

Sales clerk helped me pick out a fully precharged add on battery that included the correct cable to plug into my cell. Walked to check out counter with me and asked clerk to ring up the sale ASAP. I then sat in a comfy chair in the store’s TV sales area and made my call. Best Buy saved my day. I arrived an hour before closing but getting my phone upgraded through my cellular company took a lot longer than I imagined. The associate that assisted us, Erica, was amazing. In the last two weeks, I have been to three different locations. One thing I have to admit, they are all the same, THEY SUCK!!! I have ALWAYS had to wait over 15 minutes for someone to be summoned to the camera section. I went to the one by Florida Mall on OBT and was waiting for someone to come to the camera department for at least 15 minutes. While waiting a guy comes over with red hair. I asked him. Was there anyone working in the camera section? His reply was let me get someone for you. So he walks over in the corner by the Geek squad where there were two to three other people standing around. He never came back, nor did anyone else. I had to request help again from a young lady getting ready to walk pass. She never asked if she could help me. I asked again, “is anyone working in camera?” Who said to me,”oh, I don’t work over here”. I said, ok you have a radio, you can’t call someone over here? Finally, she calls on the radio and asked the manager to come over to the camera section.The manager did come over and she was great! However, the overall experience sucked really bad. I have no desire to go back to Best buy, any location!

We have gone several times to this location to buy either phones or computers. The Geek Squad assistants are wonderful, caring and patient. I would like to recognize one Geek Squad Associate in particular. Her name is Rebeca and she has assisted us several times. She is spectacular! She has patiently taken time with us to resolve our difficult issues on our computer and resolved the problem prior to us leaving. I’m appalled by the service I’ve received from both best buy and geek squad in the last week. Purchased a phone and apple care with them in 2020 and they told me i could do my regular upgrades with my provider, which i did end up doing in late 2021. Now, turns out they have been charging me apple care ON THE PHONE THAT I TURNED IN FOR A YEAR. They refuse to give me a refund and refuse to transfer the apple care or even fix my screen. It’s ridiculous how they tell you one thing, and then claim another. And then treat you as though you’re crazy. According to them, it cannot be refunded because I should have been notified by store that i had to cancel BUT WAS NOT. And best part is everywhere i call, they blame a different party for the issue. I want to continue to appeal and they tell me that the back office doesn’t have an appeals line or service. They say i would have to go to the store where it occurred which as we already know, REFUSES to do anything to help the situation. Poor customer service and lack of understanding for sure. They stole $200 from which they could easily return as the huge corporation they are but refuse. I was there to buy a large screen TV set and absolutely nobody came around. I had signed up for someone to come over and help and after half an hour I got tired of waiting. Now I understand the play Waiting for Godot.
Along the way I picked up a fire stick and was unable to pay for it. It seemed as though the young man at the cash register was more interested in taking pictures of himself and others than taking my cash.
Moreover, the selection was limited and the prices high. But what i love the most it’s the incredible staff that works there, they are always friendly, kind, well knowledge, available, helpful, specially Carmen Caraballo, district manager, Jean Michael, manager, Colon, manager, as all many other names that i can’t remember now but are in my heart. They always treat me as family, as for me they are really my family. And last but not least, i totally admire the yearly benefit campaign they do for St Jude, it’s priceless!!! I went back its only been three weeks 11/5/2022 when I waited over 20 minutes the assistant manager simply told me NO !!!! Would not find any solutions for me . The machine is brand new and they told me because the box was open as a matter of fact how would I even try it if i cant open it any ways I am gonna reach out to everyone that I can and teach the employees to learn how to examine every situation before they make decisions. Easily one of the worst managed Best Buy stores I’ve ever seen. You walk in and immediately find several merchandise displays that are empty (see photos) where phones and other mobile devices are supposed to be. Not sure if they don’t trust customers or just aren’t willing to maintain their displays properly.
Outside the store, both trash cans are overflowing with garbage that is left out there all day long because they are too short staffed or lazy to empty them. Carts all over the parking lot. On one recent Saturday morning, they had ONE person working both online pickup and the front cash register with a line of people waiting.
Like most other Best Buys, if you are looking to come in and find someone knowledgeable to help you find something, you might as well look elsewhere.

I am not sure if she is discriminating but I never experienced something at best buy like this before and i will be contacting corporate. Update: Price are not too bad. Very good thing is buy online and pick it up at store with no fee (regardless of $ purchase price). They also have curbside which was quick and easy. Look out for deal of the day which has some great products on discounted price. I called 1 800 and after several attempts they assured me they had it available at the Loop store. Well, they didn’t and manager on duty, Andrea, lacks any customer service skills, horrible attitude, not customer service oriented. All I wanted was an even exchange but her attitude was like ahe dont care and I was bothering. She did not approved any upgrade and denied any type of compensation for the inconvenience. Just told me they don’t do that and That I had to call 1-800 number.and all she can do was reorder. Well, the rep on the phone told me the manager has the power to take care of my situation, not them and her words were “ she didn’t want to do her job” . And it wasn’t even about the compensation but the way I was told at the store they did not compensate for broken packages( computer was dented) I was humble, didn’t made a sceneI( except for my face covered in tears at one point controlling myself ). I asked the geek squad to revise the item and it was dented. Pete, from service desk was the one that helped me and called another store to get me another one next day. He was very helpful and the geek squad guys too. But that manager needs to be retrained. Ive been in customer service all my life. No idea how shes a manager. You treat customers with respect, you listen and acknowledge, then you find reasonable solutions. Someone please, retrained that staff and review your policies and Please, change carriers. Meeting the sales representative, asking basic questions. I felt calm and confident with the very nice, well informed sales department and the knowledge they all had regarding my concerns. I spent quite a long time doing Q & A… I was extremely at ease and reassured that all my purchases were guaranteed, and extended warranties were available. I learned, everything I was purchasing could be delivered and professionally installed, and they would teach me how to use the equipment. That happened to be one of my biggest concerns. ” Not being able to trouble shoot or use the devices as intended” I was completely satisfied and relieved before making the purchase. There were at least 12 personnel totally unwillingly to assist anyone. They just kept on saying, “pls wait, someone will come to you. After waiting for 46mins, we had seen what we wanted and we only wanted someone to bring them out. We went to the register and complained to who we thought was a manager. He said, oh despite seeing the staff sitting there, their designations are neither in the phone or laptop section, so they can’t help..it was extremely frustrating. We left and went to 1900 University Drive and met the opposite reception to Pines boulevard. Immediately we entered, a pretty light skinned not too tall lady asked how she could help. She assisted us with phone and directed us to the laptop where we were again assisted. There was a waiting time of at least 15mins at the laptop section but the young man kept apologising and calling for someone to assist him. He eventually got help. I went to this store because I needed to change my new phone which was already set up so the process would take long time and the store was about to close. However, the guys (from returning area and phone department) were taking care of my case really friendly and nice, about 4 people were taking care of my cell in a really diligent and caring way. The customer service in this location is excellent but Brendan’s attention was a Home Run in this matter, he was terrific. I was helped by an associate by the name Kevin B in the appliance department.
