I used to be an employee in Springfield, so I can tell you they are not following policy at all. I purchased an open box monitor labeled excellent condition, yet when I got it home, it was missing the stand. When I returned it the kid behind the counter never even checked if it powered on, or if it was missing anything else and put it to the side, which tells me that whomever returned it in the first place never checked to see if everything was in the box when returned and just marked it excellent.I informed him I would be doing an exchange and I would like to do the exchange then or get store credit. The purchase was placed back to my card instead, and I was told he was given no other option. I left with nothing.
I came back the other night to purchase a computer for work. It took me 20 minutes to find an employee to help my husband and I, only to be told the item must have been sold in the last hour, and was never offered to have it ordered, even though it was a limited time sale. When I got home, the website stated they still have the unit in stock, so I’m not convinced the kid even looked for it. I will definitely not be returning to this location.

It will take some time to get reacquainted with the new layout. They have discontinued selling certain items which is a disappointment. The store was practically empty (shoppers and employees) when I was there. I guess people aren’t shopping as much these days.

I ordered a new pioneer Bluetooth car receiver along with a traditional backup camera installed in my older SUV. The system works great. The Audio sounded really good I’m glad I was out with the old and in with the new especially having a great working backup camera. My only complaint was that it took an hour and a half over the phone with an associate to order this equipment. Associate said their computer was acting up so give her the benefit of the doubt because I know that technology can be slow at times so I patiently waited on the phone until the sale was complete. Word to the wise, if you need to purchase any items such as this, please go into the store for much quicker service. The 1st picture shows this.Best Buy delivered a new one and took back the old one. I plug it in to find it defective and even worse! The 2nd and 3rd picture show this. There’s color streaks all throughout the tv it’s like the delivery guys handled with no care. I immediately call customer service to be told I would have to return the tv and go pick up a new one because they couldn’t deliver it.He had me on the phone for 30 min while “trying to find a solution” and hung up on me. I am extremely disappointed with the whole experience from the 2 broken tvs and the customer service experience it’s like they outsource I could barely understand the representative and he couldn’t transfer me to a manager because he said he was working from home. I still have no working tv and can’t get ahold of anyone to help I guess I will have to waste more time going to the store tomorrow. Also paid a mounting company twice now for coming out just to find out that both are broken. Super expensive overall experience and very unhappy. I have been to this particular Best Buy as it’s closer to my location and I can walk there but admittedly I buy my electronics online. In early 2021 I purchased a Galaxy Tab S6 lite from this store at 6pm and it was delivered the next day by 10am. When I couldn’t unlock it because I thought I put in the right code, when I set lock code I hit a wrong key and couldn’t figure out what I did. I didn’t think to make an appointment but I just walked in. The Geek squad has always been to the rescue when needed! They were very gracious and understanding and helped me without the appointment anyway and after charging the unit thankfully they unlocked it! The one time I don’t purchase the Geek squad/Total Tech protection of course, but the price to unlock the tablet was very reasonable in my opinion. Since then and more recently, this year I have purchased the Galaxy Tab S8, the Google nest speaker, 2 smart plugs, smart bulbs and this time I purchased the Total Tech protection which will pay for itself really. I really like that they will recycle lots of different electronics, which is great because I have quite a few things I need to dispose of safely and correctly. The only issue, and it’s just not here, but pretty much any store these days, shelves are little bare. Horrible experience. Purchased A TV from Amazon to be picked up at Best Buy. I got home and it didn’t work there were lines through the television. Screen was not cracked.. They would not let me exchange it for another one. I had to get my money back refunded to my card and Purchase another one from their brick and mortar store. Doing this you get less of a warranty 2 weeks rather than 30 days through Amazon. On top of that I get 5% cash back to my Amazon card to spend on Amazon which was further making making my price of the television cheaper. Before going I was assured by by a best Best Buy chat agent that there wouldn’t be any situations but when I got there the lady at the counter said she didn’t want to see anything from Best Buy chat. This was a 5 hour ordeal. No credit from Best Buy no offer from them to give me the TV cheaper, nothing. If I was Amazon I would not let Best Buy sell on my platform.. They obviously don’t know how to operate in Internet sales. In early December we ordered a full kitchen of new appliances (over $7K), which were all delivered on December 26. The gas stove, which we had purchased as new, was open box, with missing pieces and the burners not lighting. We went to the store and spoke with the manager, Joseph, who agreed to deliver a replacement stove in three days. We were pleased (hence the would-be 5 stars).
We got emails and notices for the December 30 delivery, and waited all day. Around 8 pm we got notice that the stove would not be delivered and were told to call a number to reschedule. When we called, delivery could not occur for over a week and no one could explain why.

Great location for computers, gaming, accessories and various electronics and devices. I went there looking for thermal paste. The employee was very helpful and the price was good. Store is clean and organized. Some of the prices for games and consoles are higher than Walmart or online.
