    Third time is a charm!!!

My last stop looking for a new car battery stopped here at the Zebulon Walmart location on 9/24. Ty, in automotive, was very diligent in assisting with our automotive needs.

Unlike associates at the Gray Hwy and Harrison Walmart locations, when Ty in Zebulon did not see the battery I needed on the shelf, he walked behind the shelf and went on a thorough search to find the battery in a box behind the shelf. We were so thankful! We were then able to use our new battery that was covered under our 3-year warranty to drive our trade in car to our dealership appointment, trade it in, and obtain our new car. We couldn’t be happier.

You never really know how much of an impact the simplest things can make. I just needed sales associates in previous Walmart stores to not be lazy and look for a battery.

Thank You Ty and Rafael! There was another helpful associate present, but I didn’t catch his name; thank you, too! Anyhow, roll those cameras back and give all three of those men a raise because that’s a quality customer care team that gives Walmart a good look!

This comment is referencing to the curbside pickup solely. This location has to be the most laziest, careless, dare to say ghetto for curbside. It’s such a shame because the employees inside perform at least 80% better. Clearly there is a lack of leadership in this department. I have shopped this particular walmart since they opened because it’s near my home. I found the curbside be very helpful on sick days so I don’t have to go inside. Unfortunately, lately it’s gone to the dogs. There hasn’t been one time that I haven’t waited 20-30 minutes for my order. I literally sit and watch the baggy pants little boys parade around in gangs talking and laughing while customers are staring at them waiting for their orders. There hasn’t been one time that I haven’t seen a customer getting out of their car to ask for supervisor because no one is getting service. This is ridiculous! It’s great that these young men have jobs and aren’t in the streets at those certain hours, but they need to take pride and initiative in their work and proper leadership goes hand in hand with that.

Literally never have a good experience at this store so I try to avoid it at all cost when it comes to customer service after two of my experiences. One being 7 months pregnant loading up a crib that I purchased online that didn’t work so I tried to return it. Customer service was 0 help and didn’t even act like they cared to create a solution. Employees just standing all around looking useless. I was told, sorry you’ll have to call customer service and ship it back yourself 🙄🙄 SO then I had to load the thing back up in my car myself after it took everything in me just to get it there in the first place. The second experience, I wanted to exchange diapers for a larger size… load my diapers and baby up.. just to walk in and be told at the door that customer service is closed on a Friday at 2 pm. Like why? I’m sure it was staffing related issue cause it’s usually a ghost town looking for an employee, except for today of course… as there are 4 employees walking around together having pow wows and loading up buggy’s. I know customer service is unfortunately a thing of the past, but my advice is to go here if you want to be inconvenienced, yup I’m petty and took the time today.

Although they did not have the item I wanted in stock–as usual I found other things I needed. Like brown mulch: Clearance priced at $2 per bag. There was plenty there. But bring some extra 32 gallon bags because the stock is aged on some.So the bags tear easily. Case the entire patio area & you’ll find stronger bagged mulch. Also, there’s some red mulch

It’s Walmart, so the bar is low. But this Walmart used to be pretty good! Now all the associates claim to be short-staffed, but there was a plethora of associates zoning (although not very well!) Half the prices on the shelf are not accurate. Download the app and scan everything.

I made it out alive with my purchase to make this review – so I think I had a great experience. In and out in about 15 minutes. And that was still too long to be in there.

I am deducting one star for not having solid black pants in my son size, so I’ll just make do with the ones I got.

It took them a while to find my pick up items but that didn’t bother me. They were super nice and it wasn’t their fault. But inside the store there were so many employees with big carts in the middle of the isles and they are not nice and will not move or let you pass. They were so rude.

Curbside pick-up thru the app is not feasible for this location unless you wish to wait 1-2 hours. The employees are nice but their system is very unorganized. There’s usually no spaces available for pick-up because shoppers used them to go inside the store. I observed people that arrived after me receive their pick-up order before I did. After waiting over an hour on 12/4/22, I decided to go inside to talk to a manager who was helpful but she still was unable to find my order in the system even though I received a “Order Complete” message thru the app an hour prior to waiting. After waiting nearly 2 hours (checked-in @ 2:03; left at 3:47), I finally got my items. I’ve never had this experience at the Zebulon Rd. location. The only reason I came here was because some items were out of stock at the Zebulon Rd. store. I’ll never do curbside pick up at at this location again. It’s much faster and convenient to shop inside for your items yourself. Curbside is NOT convenient at Harrison Rd. when you’re in a rush or not.

I usually don’t give reviews for exceptional service but in this case I feel it’s the right thing to do. I had a issue with my phone and Kyle, back in the Electronics stayed on the phone with me with the cell phone company stated on the line until my issue was resolved, he never complained off the hold times we endured with the company or anything just hung in there all the way through, thank you

We need lots of supplies moving from one auto repair to the next, and this Walmart is often on the way to our next appointment. There automotive section is always pretty well stocked. Staff is friendly and as always the prices are pretty competitive. Bathrooms are always clean and they recently got renovated. Its not our usual pit stop for supplies but gets the job done in a pinch.

This is my last visit. I found four month old Cobb salads in the Deli open top mixed in with the other salads. Why were stocked on the sales floor; why were they kept in the backroom cooler? What else is in the back that’s a month old or older? How old is the stock they use behind the counter? Then to add to that when I went to the drink aisle the associate who was stocking the shelves was talking on her cellphone. I guess no one cares at this store. This was my last visit and I recommend everyone else avoid this store also. You may get food poisoning and the staff are too busy on their phones to help.

Well today was a good day for shopping. Wednesday is fairly unpredictable but today things went smoothly and I was able to get everything I needed (plus things I just wanted). I just keep forgetting where they place the Pilot Gel Pens and notebooks. But the book selection is coming up in quality and quantity. I am a bookseller as well as a Google reviewer.😇

Karen is an amazing cashier….always. Today, a young African American man helped me, leaving his task to assist me in buying a heavy tool cabinet. I had a major concussion recently, and my memory is not what it was. I asked him for his name…..I think it was Trevor…..not sure. He was working in the tool section. He was so very sweet….and helpful to an old white lady. I love his parents…and don’t even know them….but they certainly raised a fine young man.

Everything I needed in one spot. Reasonable prices. I needed a can of spay paint which they keep locked. There was a sales person in that dept who helped me find the right one. Lines were long in the self checkout but was moving at a reasonable pace. There were no lanes open that had a cashier. If you buy tobacco products you had to wait in the line at self checkout then after completing your purcase wait in line at the service desk to purchase tobacco products.
