I never like going to Walmart as the associates don’t seem to like customers and never want to help. The Missoula Walmart is no different as I wandered the store for a considerable period of time very obviously trying to locate a section and not one worker could be bothered to help. I understand the need for good workers now but this is consistent across all the stores I have been in.

The convenience of online shopping and curbside pick up is great; if the company can follow through with what they stand by. I made an order yesterday morning before 8am, requesting a pick-up time of between 5pm – 6pm. My order was delayed four hours, even though I had received noticed that my order wouldn’t be any more than two hours delayed. I tried calling the pick-up area three times that night, no one answers the phone. So I called a fourth time to speak to an associate; the woman answers the phone asking who she can direct me to. I tell her the nature of my call, asked if anyone was in the pick-up area, she simply says, “I don’t know, I don’t work that area and that’s not my concern” and she transfers the call. Once again the phone just rings, no one answers. I called back this morning (the next day after my order was placed) and once again, the phone just rings. I understand being understaffed and that Wal-Mart is doing the best they can with what workforce they have, but this is just poor customer service. Someone should always be available to answer the phone. Those that do answer the phone, should know proper phone etiquette.

Got an oil change there. Went back because of an oil leak after the change. Had to wait a half hour before they even brought it in. Then over two hours once it was in. Then they tried to charge me $12 dollars. Asked them why? The told me the drain plug was loose! Are you KIDDING me! You just changed to oil! And now you want to charge ME for YOUR incompetence? I would definitely NEVER go there again. Pay more. Go somewhere competent. That was the first and last time i will ever go there

Walmart has all the employees shopping so getting help is really difficult here. I also dislike (personally) the amount of self check outs vs. manned cashiers. I would prefer to see more people employed, if there are people wanting work (up for debate). Generally a pretty generic but predictable shopping experience. If you can manage to get assistance it’s been, in my experience very helpful and friendly so they do have that going for them. Full transparency, my issues with Walmart are more about the business itself than with the experience or the employees.

Took my BMW into the Walmart automotive center to get my new tires installed for the winter. Not only were the tires never installed, but the front bumper of my car was RIPPED AWAY from my vehicle. The employees were unsure of the extent of the damage, whether or not the underside of my vehicle was damaged, or how exactly the damages took place.

Initially I was told by the automotive department that all repair and towing costs would “absolutely” be covered, and they told me to find a local vehicle repair shop for them to tow it to. A little later, I was told by Jeremy “Yeah so I just looked at your car and it looks like there were no bolts in your skid plates”….. ??? Not only is that entirely untrue and nearly impossible, but that would have NOTHING to do with the DAMAGES TO MY VEHICLE anyway. Jeremy is not a mechanic. Nonetheless, he included his completely unfounded “diagnosis” in their insurance claim to their company, alleging that they do not find themselves liable for their damages to my vehicle.

He then DROVE MY CAR in the condition it was in, with the bumper dangling in front of the wheels, out of the shop and into the parking lot, placing the loose parts they had ripped off ON THE GROUND outside, and told me to come get my keys.

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND IGNORANT TEAM OF STAFF AT THE WALMART ON MULLAN ROAD.

Twice it didn’t have the products needed in stock and the other Walmart did. Cute section of kitschy tourist products.

To many pallets in aisle ways difficult to maneuver a shopping cart through.
It seems to be each time when we were visiting.
The sales associates could use a little more personal Hygiene ..understand there is a few but it seems most of the employees could use a little more self care they are representing a store it should reflect somewhat in the attire or appearance as associates of the retail store

This chain store has not had all of the products available, it seems to be very disorganized and very had to find product in. Prices are way out of line for what the profit of the upper management is getting. This store no longer is a store to be able to purchase items at a reasonable price, therefore I have started to shop online more. Never thought I would see that day.

Pros: Walmart has quite a selection for groceries, tires, automotive, and parking. Some of the employees are friendly and are happy to help.

The cons: self checkout. Im there too purchase items, not become the cashier and not get paid, nor a discount. Most of the employees, generally do not engage the customer to ask if there’s something there customer needs help finding, etc.

The talk from customers during my visit today: mostly younger customers automatically go to self checkout. Older folks, whom are accustom to customer service, are dissatisfied with the shopping experience. Having positive or negative customer relations, where the staff work together to create a positive experience is important. I noticed over 10 customers during checkout become irritated that there were no open check stands.

Overall: parking lot has lots of parking. There are many choices at a decent price for groceries, clothing, tools, housewares, etc. But, if you want customer service… this store isn’t for you.

Closing: i only shop here, if i am in the area(when cashiers were still at many check stands). Now that has changed, I’m less likely to shop here… I am more likely to shop in the local markets in stevi and Hamilton, where customer relations are a plenty, and the employees know most of the customers by name. Super 1 is far more friendly and their produce is fresh.
