I gave high response to the survey I was sent but was unable to update it so have to put my relevant feedback here. I had a Viper security and auto start installed by Best Buy. The remote stopped working after my truck battery was replaced. I set up an appointment with their call center , but when I checked in at the location I booked the appointment they didn’t have a record of it. Thank goodness I checked in with them earlier in the day. They set up an appointment and got me in. The remote was in lock mode, he unlocked it and I was on my way. But when I went to another store in the same shopping center the remote didn’t work again. I went back and he worked with it again. He gave it back and said it was fixed. I left town and returned home, (2.5 hrs away). The next morning I tried to use the remote, it didn’t work again!! I’m SO FRUSTRATED!!! I wish I could give zero stars…. I went in yesterday to try and buy a home hub system. No one would even take the time to talk to me. I was however rudely asked to move so an employee could take a picture of products I was looking at, but was too busy to help. I’ve been shopping here for a long time but all I can say is thank God for Amazon. Bye bye “best” buy. We ordered a laptop online the night before Black Friday. We received a notification that the purchase was successful and that we could pick it up between 5am and 10pm. The $1000 was taken out of my bank account immediately. When we arrived to pick the laptop up at 10am, they first told us the laptop was not at the store. We went to see if we would be able to purchase it off the shelf and was then told that the store pickup did actually have the laptop but that we were not allowed to have it. They gave us numerous different stories and kept telling us to be patient. Eventually, we were told that we were not able to pick it up because their system was bogged down from Black Friday and could not verify that we had paid. I find this ridiculous since I have a bank statement showing the money was already taken out of my account. I called corporate and the representative said that their system told them the item was ready and awaiting pickup. We spoke to the general manager of the store, as well as other staff members and no one was able to give us our item. Instead, they simply showed us the laptop box multiple times to prove they had it, but were not able to give it to us. For our troubles, corporate offered a $15 gift card. This represents less than 1% of our purchase and is virtually useless since neither I nor my family or friends will ever purchase from Best Buy ever again, especially this one on Muldoon.By Feyne Elmore (2 months ago)Sadly, there is a reason people come here then buy online. The service was non existent, spent 15-20 minutes trying to get someone to open a locked case. Had three different employees say they were going to be right back. I walked out empty handed and ordered the same item from Amazon for 25 bucks less. The higher price isn’t a big issue I’d happily paid to get it when I wanted it. My favorite place to purchase electronics. With their app, they made things so much easier: shop on line pick up the same day. Despite black Friday challenges, they managed to get my orders correct and ready. However, most visits it’s a hassle to find an employee. I usually order online and pickup in store.
Their in-store services are on par with other large retailers. The Diamond location had 1 350 magic key pad left so we purchased with the rest of our items. We get to the Diamond location to be told we had to wait at least an hour to pick it up. Maggie’s let us know with to much excitement, that’s what happens when you don’t buy it from us. Obviously the 2 stores have totally different management styles. If I continue to shop at Best Buy, it will never be this location.By Cheryl (3 months ago)Three times I’ve placed an order for pick up for an item, twice open boxes so it’s a specific thing rather than any of a specific product, and the order has been terminated because they didn’t actually have it.
