This Walmart Neighborhood Market is really good about in and out. But now they’re hiring Male cashiers. So now you can check out without the bothersome self checkout stations.

If you ever need to grab cookie dough, parchment paper and mascara at nine at night, this is the place. The shelves were stocked, it’s clean, and is probably one of the nicer neighborhood markets in the area. Can’t really beat it

All shelves were well stocked. This was a pleasant surprise! Employees were helpful!

Good for a quick shopping trip. Has basic items, unlike a super Wal-Mart. Pay more as well, but convenient and not nearly as crowded. Staff is helpful as well.

Very nice store. I kinda like the neighborhood marketplace deal. But they don’t seem to have big enough parking lots for overnight RV parking.

I would like to thank Store Manager Tim Miller, Operation Manager David Campbell, and Cheryl Johnson for going above and beyond in delivering Excellent Customer Experience during a difficult time in my life in a “limited- time” window. Deeply appreciative! #genuinelywantedtohelp

Grocery pickup has been awful lately. Orders are constantly delayed and you have to wait forever when it’s finally ready. Management needs to reduce the amount of slots per hour if they can’t find more employees to cover them. I feel bad for the few employees they have struggling to keep up with all the orders and dealing with frustrated people when it’s clearly a management issue.

I was liking this Walmart until I started hearing bad things about it and started witnessing it for myself. I tried to make a return and they said that customer service (around 6:30pm) was closed and they couldn’t do my return. I had bought some cheese, opened it and there was mold growing on it. I also bought some ice cream and you could tell that they were melted and refrozen because the sticks was no longer visible. I’ve also in the pass bought some meat from there that had a bad odor on numerous occasions.

Just left Grovetown Neighborhood Walmart and wanted to say they have a really friendly staff. I would like to let the manager Amanda know that the young man Chris that works there is such a sweetheart! Every time I shop there he is so nice, always smiling and such a gentleman!

Edited review: 3 starts because their OGP department is horrible, either getting damaged items or they’re not bothering to pick items that are in the store.

Went there this afternoon looking for some baking ingredients and received assistance from two employees. Ryan, in particular, impressed me with his willingness to help. I always enjoy shopping this store and the great service there today shows why.

I had one of the worst pharmacy experiences at this Walmart Market that I’ve ever had anywhere. I normally use CVS, but my medication was backordered so I called Walmart to see if they had it in stock. They said yes, so I took my RX there. The pharmacist, Jennifer, took my prescription and told me that even though “those prescriptions don’t expire they won’t fill it if it’s over 6 months old.” Because it was a medication that I had resisted starting, when I finally DID start, my doctor told me just to use the prescriptions he had already written, which was what I was doing. After Jennifer told me that, I went to my car and got the most recent prescription from my doctor and took that in. Jennifer then told me that the prescription looked “fake” because she “filled prescriptions from that doctor all the time and that wasn’t what they looked like.” She THEN told me I should have the doctor “just call it in because shouldn’t have all those pieces of paper can’t keep organized.” I asked her to please call the doctor’s office to authenticate the RX if she didn’t believe it was real, which she begrudgingly claimed to do (I didn’t see it) and told me they didn’t answer. I called the office then, and they answered, and I asked them to please call the pharmacy and authenticate the RX, which they did after about 15 minutes. I wasn’t leaving the pharmacy though until the pharmacist saw that I wasn’t trying to pass off a fake RX and because I needed my medication. Jennifer begrudgingly admitted that my RX was legitimate and that it would be filled but she wasn’t sure how long it would take. I had already been there for 45 minutes, so I told them I would come back. I DO NOT want to deal with Jennifer the pharmacist again though–she’s dreadful.

WNM on Evans to Locks is my go to spot. Most of the time the staff is very friendly. I have come across a few that were miserable and one that would sit in the foyer high but I haven’t seen any of them lately. The greeters who are occasionally at the door could actually greet people instead of sitting there in their own world. Also the people could acknowledge me when I go to the deli. I would say those are my main complaints except being out of stock on some items, but that happens anywhere. Majority of the staff are there to help if needed. They usually have what I came for. They carry much more than just food, and their Pharmacy is great. They have most of my prescriptions on auto fill and it doesn’t take a long time for them to be ready. The Pharmacists and techs are also super helpful and friendly (except the man he seems to just want to get rid of you). Linda from the Pharmacy and I could talk all day if she didn’t have a job to do lol she’s just so friendly. The market is not very crowded, though the parking lot may make you think so. 4-7 pm seems to be the peak times. I wish they had registers open until closing, because I dislike using self checkout especially because I usually buy way too much stuff every time I go there which is about 3 times a week.

The staff has definitely changed .. no one speaks to you but the lady at the self check out. I even said hello to the lady in the yogurt section and wouldnt even acknowledge me. Not one worker even said hello until I did my self checkout. I definitely miss the welcome feel they used to have here.

If you’re a veteran looking for employment don’t bother. Bob will not hire you. I applied last month for employment at the Hephzibah Walmart. I had a referral. I have cashier experience and I served my country. Bob never returned my calls. Just straight up ignore me and I even went up there to speak to him. Never available! So I gave up calling and wasting gas up there to speak to him. I was better off talking to Ashley of Jasmine.

I don’t ever have any problems here. I’m always finding unique stuff that I wouldn’t have thought would be in a walmart store. Not giving 5 stars only because there are always stock racks obstructing some aisles.

The pharmacy definitely is off key! I have called them continuously and requested a store manager and needless to say, nothing was done about anyone answering the phone! I wouldn’t recommend their pharmacy for your medication. You may not have it in time. If you can do the mail order, do so!

Sometimes when you ask one of the employees here where something is they tell you but most of the time they don’t know but what is bad is they act like you shouldn’t be bothering them.
The worst thing is when they give you your receipt they say “HERE YOU GO” with out even looking at you and talking to another employee about something personal.
Shouldn’t they be trained to say thank you??

In and out quickly. Didn’t like that they blocked some end displays with pallets of product to be worked. I may have spent additional money.

Frustrating experience this time. Was told we can’t use the self checkout if we have more than 5 items so we had to go stand in long lines when we could have been out much quicker. Once we got to the register we asked the cashier if we could bag our own groceries with our reusable bags since we don’t use plastic. She acted like it was a hassle to allow us to bag our own groceries when in reality her workload was cut in half since we did the bagging part. Will not be coming back to this Walmart until after the holidays since we are no longer allowed to checkout the way we prefer to.

Customer-no-service was not willing to move from beyond their counter to help. They were more than happy to tell me ‘no.’ I wasn’t asking to move mountains, just open a door. Managers should focus on how to win guests and give their associates some much needed guidance. Attitude(s) reflect leadership.

Well stocked up. People are great. One problem.. please add more cashier’s, people. I do not work for Walmart nor am I getting a discount for doing someone else’s job. I do not care to check myself out. A multimillion dollar company can afford to hire more people to check out the people that made them a multimillion dollar company.

It is just a typical Walmart without much else to add. The customer service is sub-par, and the store is a little smaller than some of the other Walmart stores in the area. Prices are normally a little higher than your other Grocery stores in town and nearby. There isn’t a gas station attached to this Walmart. The only positive thing is their self-checkout area, where you can normally get out of there fairly quickly when needed. If you have to pick up something there that you can’t get somewhere else close by then I guess it will serve; However, I’d rather spend my money somewhere else.
