The new remodel looks excellent. They’re still not entirely done, some areas are still being built/unpacked. But you’re able to go in now & ~85% of the store is up & running.

This Location was very pleasant, customer service is very helpful and I found myself picking up more items than I originally came for. I like to shop here because the warranty they offer for their electronics is a nice investment incase your electronics devices ever need repairs. Customer Service workers were very pleasant here although they all were busy due to the large numbers of customers who reqired assistance. They have a variety of electronics to choose from for all of your technical needs. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The store associate who assisted us was awesome and was able to answer all my questions. He made sure I had everything I needed for delivery and installation. The folks who came to deliver and install were also fantastic. There was a small issue with my water drainage pipe that they were able to work around to get me all hooked up and ready to go.
I have been to this location 3 times since moving here, for various things. Every time has been a good experience. The other night they stopped curbside delivery so I went in. I stood in the customer pick up line for 15 min until a customer not employee told me the customer pick up was at the front register and not were the sign instructed customers to wait. Then they took forever to pull a item that was ready for pick up. I recommend the Southaven store. Much better experience and management is always visible.By martin rogers (a month ago)I will never go in the store again the manager their so rude. I was their picking up a delivery order I kept telling her she had to scan the barcode on my phone to find the correct order and to complete the transaction. She gone tell me no I don’t so then she pulls the order had two of the same it’s with the same name but get this different cities and state. Why she was trying to be so smart she gave me the wrong order. The item she gave me was for someone with the same name in California this is Memphis. Next thing I do is call the delivery service I work for to help with the order since the store manager told me she was not going to help me. My job told me to ask for the receipt in which she should have given to me anyway. I had who I work for on speaker the manager response was maybe I will give you a receipt rude and do not need to be working with the public not to mention they lost the guy that was in line in front of me order and she walked off as if she didn’t care and didn’t try to help. She also had the never to talk about me with other employees in my face people like her should not have a job were they have to deal with customers you never know who you are being rude to or would would read this she makes the company look bad. Consistent best prices and superior customer service place this store in the top tier for electronics and so much more. It doesn’t seem to matter if I’m purchasing a refrigerator or an Apple product, the staff can expertly speak to the product features and benefits. We recently visited to purchase noise canceling Bose ear buds and the price was $20 lower than the “low sale” price at Sam’s Club and even lower than other places we checked. We noticed that the Apple Air pods were also $20 lower at Best Buy. I miss the old days of circuit City where employees were falling all over themselves to help you and earn a commission. Very hard to find somebody to help you in this store especially when it comes to TVs and cell phones. There’s always just one person helping with cell phones and every time I go in there there’s someone in the middle of a 2-hour transaction. The staff that came to help us were friendly and had a lot of information that was helpful. Getting ready to check out I noticed there were fewer employees on the floor because the one associate that was helping us was now in the cell phone department. The young man who came over grabbed the device we wanted and took it to the register. He was tossing it around like it was a toy. After checking out we asked for a bag because we just bought a $300 item and didn’t want to walk out of the store with it in plain day light. The associate looked at us with a serious face and said “our bags cost 11 cents now.” We both chuckled because that’s crazy. It’s wild that I can come in a store and spend hundreds of dollars and not be able to get a bag for my items. We were disappointed. Best Buy you really ought to be ashamed! The past few times that I have been there, it’s so difficult to get help to get iPads, or anything that is locked behind the locks. I’m not sure if they are having issues scheduling, or people not wanting to work, but either case, the manager on duty should be there to help out the customers. I have left several times without purchasing things because I couldn’t find any help! Popped in here for the 1st time a couple of years and have to say they have made quite a few improvements since the last time I was in. Store was clean and well stocked. The staff was friendly and helpful.. I was able to walk in and get exactly what I wanted, get checked out and leave in less than 10 minutes. I had to make a last minute return on a few electronic items I bought. I kind of figured I would get some aggravation from from the people there for walking in we’re walking in 10 minutes before they close but they were happy to help and I was out of there before 7.UPDATE:
On a $600+ purchase returned on Sunday night just before close of business, my debit card was refunded back to my card by 2:00am (5 to 7hrs later). Now everyone knows this is contingent on a lot of things. It’s a great place to get educated about the newest and coolest technology because the staff is well informed. I was just treated as if I was never good enough, overlooked, got paid less than newer people, and was never thanked for my years there by management before I left.
