    Saturday 7/30 NOT the Best experience at Best Buy. So today I ventured into the Highland store to purchase a KitchenAid stand mixer. To my surprise and delight, the mixer of my dreams was on sale for a grrrreat price. The problem was there were none on the shelf. After waiting about 5-7 minutes for assistance, we had the pleasure of having N assist us. He scanned the tag and off we went.

    Problem 1. The incorrect price. Tag says regular price $449, on sale for $279. It scans $449
    Problem 2. Manager K comes over and says despite the price on the shelf she is limited to only reducing the price by $150, not $170. It’s $20 Best Buy, c’mon
    Problem 2a. This was NOT a price match, this was BBs price. BB advertises that they price match. They should stipulate that there is a maximum to that. Perhaps they do. This should be crystal clear
    Problem 3. I told N & K, regardless of the $20 discrepancy, I will still purchase the item, but they should take steps so that someone else is not caught off guard by the clear bait and switch, there was no comment
    Problem 4. N mentions that the little beacons in the sky program the prices on the little screens. These weren’t paper tags. This is a system error. I’m tempted to go to another BB to see how they will handle it, or if the problem exists in other stores.
    Problem 5. Manager K, adjusted the price and walked away. No de-escalation, no mention of how the issue will be mitigated, just walked away. Not saying this is wrong, but am saying it’s not Excellence in Customer Service 🤦🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️

    Niche Note: Best Buy, you are a major company that made a goof. That’s understandable. Apologize to the customer and do the right thing always.

    Went to Best Buy to purchase a Xbox controller. Their selection was limited, and prices where not too great… but that was expected. Their customer service was fine, nothing exceptional. The place seemed a little unorganized.
    Overall, I would suggest buying online and skipping the long lines that they tend to have. Would not want to go there on a busy day.

    The people at the sercice/ advise desk are amazing people. Nina was extremely helpful in trying to figure out how to get everything transfered over on a Jitter Bug phone that an elderly family member of mine was having problems doing. I do not recommend elderly getting these phones they are more complicated to than other service phones. I thought they were supposed to be easy-to-use.

    I shopped at 3 Best Buy stores that day – so first, shame on Google for not identifying the stores. This store was ok but it’s funny, that when you don’t need help, you can’t take ten steps without getting asked by another employee. The day we were there, we had to search and wait ten minutes for assistance, And on top of that we must have disturbed an important (Not) meeting, because they acted unhappy about having to assist me. Luckily for them, their store was the only one that had the product I’d been shopping for. Otherwise I would have walked out.

    I ordered a car product in November. Installation was set for January 19. I arrived on January 19 to be told they no longer install the specific car products. After I and the other driver took off work. Time, money and inconvenience is what I encountered.

    Geek Squad was very helpful and informative. He thoroughly reviewed our options, even if they didn’t include Best Buy. He informed us of exactly what was involved with each option, such as whether it would affect our iPhone warranty or not. He seemed genuinely interested in our needs, and endeavored to assist in any way possible. We sincerely felt like we had someone looking out for our best interests. This isn’t the only time we’ve experienced this level of service here. Thank you Best Buy.

    The staff were friendly. I tend to research items as I shop so I prefer to not have staff standing over me. That said, they gave me space and checked back with me every 10 minutes or so while I was comparing mice and headsets. Good selection of popular and quality items. Alhough they’re not terribly diverse in color selection for mice models, but they did have several items cheaper (or on sale) compared to Amazon or direct from the manufacturer. They won’t price match the manufacturers unfortunately, HOWEVER, they do price match Amazon who does quite often run the sales that the manufacturers have.

    Had to unfortunately bring a firestick remote in due to a bitter ex gluing it shut. The geek squad looked at it but didn’t attempt to try to open it, I end buying a new one along with a soundboard for my tv. Got back home, grabbed a thumbtack and was able to pry the remote open without damaging it. Kinda wasted 30 bucks on a new remote. I posted a pic of my old remote where the glue was

    I had a pick up for Meta Quest 2.
    I ordered it that morning and it was available and ready for pick up within an hour. Even though it was crowded and it seemed as though everyone was there to pick up the Meta Quest 2, the staff kept it moving with no hitches. Once you gave name by the time cashier put it into computer gentleman was back with console. I was in line no longer than 3-4 minutes tops. I have to give the Best Buy store in
    Munster Indiana 10 stars. You guys were 100 and very professional and courteous. Thank you.

    They were knowledgeable enough. Calvin, Ashley, and Prinav made the experience worth my time and provided helpful feedback through the decision making process. The two stars really came off with the delivery. Being a total tech member that just spent a stupid amount of money on av equipment for a new basement, I would have expected the behemoth tv (along with the other two 50″+ panels) to have been carried to said basement and not left at the front door. Seems like a simple task to provide a massive convenience for customers whom have invested in your product/service.

    I don’t shop at Best Buy often but I was looking for a new MacBook and their price was hard to beat. The staff was friendly and helpful. The 4 star is not a knock, nothing went wrong with my last visit/purchase just that every store can always improve.

    Staff was friendly, prices are what you would expect from a big box. Great selection of what I was looking for (tailgate speaker). Taxing them a star cause 3-4 of the display models weren’t working and it seemed a lot of ones that were less than $300 weren’t on display at all. I know you can’t unbox everything, but I wanna try out what I’m buying… especially if it’s over $200.

    It’s a typical Best Buy. I was looking at laptops and an employee pretty much forced his help on me. I told him I was looking at a particular laptop and he stood there and read the specs to me. Thanks dude. I can read too. These employees need more sales training.

    The staff were very helpful. Answered all the questions we had and activated my phone for me so I didn’t have to worry about it. Also they set up my auto pay for my monthly plan so I don’t have to worry about refilling my phone service. Will definitely shop here again!

    I am sure it’s because people don’t want to work. Bought a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and head phone set. None of the cash registers were open. Had to go to the service desk to check out. Not a big deal. No bags. Had to tuck and carry all the items out to my vehicle. Luckily didn’t drop any of them

    Horrible customer service and they hardly have any items stocked. Not much of a selection when it comes to electronics. The blonde girl had a terrible attitude and was extremely rude. Seemed to care more about what was going on on her cell phone than trying to help a customer. I will say the young man named Jared was friendly and the only one that seemed to care to try to help. I will not be returning to this location.

    Went in to buy a little TV I planned on using a Fire TV stick with. Ended up speaking with James about WiFi Routers for a while and also picked up the Eero Pro 6E router to replace my aging Netgear N,G,B Routers. So far the system seems stable and I am happy.

    Bottom line was went to buy radio I had $500 get a sony nobody could help me the greater ask me what I needed to know. I told him he got mad because I wanted to mirror my phone to my radio, said it was illegal , Tell me to go to Walmart and buy my radio , so I did saved 250.00 bucks, I never got the radio I was going to buy there but it’s going to have to do had the same watts .

    I am not a conspiracy theorist but why does all the price tags on the shelves have cameras built into them? Is BIG BROTHER watching you as you walk thru the store? Look at the right end of them the white looks to be a flash and the lens is below it. Trust me I looked closely at one that fell down and a salesman followed me through out the store after that.

    As I’ve said before, Best Buy is not what it used to be, but then what retail business is what it used to be. The first person to help me on this visit was very impatient and made it obvious she was not amused by my request to see the actual product before making a buying decision. The second person to help me was the complete opposite. He seemed to have a good idea what customer service meant. He is the reason I didn’t leave and purchase the items elsewhere. The products themselves were fine. Prices were fairly competitive. The store was cleaner and better organized than my previous visit.

But I’ll say on the other day I went in there in the two employees working I had got the feeling that they I was bothering them They did not want to help me and I was there to buy an oculus so I was getting ready to drop about 400 bucks and that still didn’t face them but normally best awesome

    We went there late night. And off course staff are not that accommodating anymore. We were looking for a microphone or an adaptor for our Karaoke. And they simply said, they don’t have. We went out and Back since we were not satisfied. We looked for ourselves and we got it. Sometimes, staff are not knowledgeable on their products that supposed to require an up selling skills. Anyway, we used those adaptors though. Thanks Best Buy!
