I go into the store already knowing what I want or need for myself and/or my kids. Inventory-wise, the stores are usually good, however it’s the service that’s starting to lack. Sometimes there’s plenty of employees that walk by you and they won’t say anything or acknowledge that you’re their and offer assistance. Sometimes you have to flag down an associate for help. Recently last week I went into the store to buy a video doorbell, was waiting patiently behind a couple who was already talking to an associate about the same subject. They got what they needed and the associate didn’t even acknowledge me waiting and went back to their desk. So I waited for a good 5 minutes to give that person a chance, but no. I had to walk up to him to get service and get my item. A few weeks prior my son wanted a gaming monitor, had athe one i needed up on the top-stock shelf, needed the step ladder. Waited over 15 minutes with nobody around to help out, was ready to get the ladder myself. I used to work in retail as supervisor, 8 years with the 10-ft. rule, you see customers within that range, you provide service to them if needed. I had to go flag down an associate who supposedly worked in the area. Seems like both the Toledo stores are becoming less helpful and almost aiming to be self service. which wouldn’t be a problem if items were readily available within reach or not locked up.By Somsinh Malathong (4 months ago)Cody who works in computers is excellent. I went in to get a pickup order on Black Friday and it went so smoothly. There was a long line and i was hesitant at first but it moved SO quickly. The employees were friendly and my order was found promptly. After not being able to find the original item that their website claimed was in stock, I decided to purchase another couple of items that I’ve been needing. I found my items and noticed they were on sale for a good price. At checkout, I noticed these items were rung up for full price, one item being even more than the regular sticker price. After showing the salesperson where the items were, I was informed that the sale price is only applicable if you pay a $200 membership. The other item, I was informed, was a high price because the wrong item tag was on the shelf. You would think with how often the employees pester me asking if I want help in the aisles, they would notice that things are out of place and correct it. All in all, I was very disappointed in this trip to Best Buy. I will definitely not make the mistake of shopping at Best Buy instead of Amazon ever again.By C. W. I haven’t been to Best Buy in a while. I needed a good charger and an adapter for my headphones, because I bought a new phone and needed that. I didn’t know such a gadget like that was available.
The two young employees helped me in making my selection and they went above and beyond my expectations. They were super friendly and helpful. I’ll surely be back.
I really appreciate great customer service and I give them 5 stars for the exceptional customer service I received.
I’m very happy with my purchases too. The charger is quick in charging my phone. And the adapter makes it possible so I can enjoy my playlists. I would like to see a better selection of computer parts and music equipment, however they do offer the basics. Good selection of tv’s, appliances, and phones. The store is very clean and well organized. The store is handicap accessible and plenty of parking available. I don’t like negative comments, and even tried to correct the issue, but Best Buy seemed to go out of their way to be as little as helpful as it could…I went to the Strongsville store and spent 15-20 minutes back by games, tv(s), etc. I looked for help, I waited for help, etc. Was planning on buying a game console and give them my business. Not a single store employee in sight from the middle of the store (where games are) to the the back (tv’s and etc.). So, I decided to leave.
Now, I figured I would call the store, explain the service to the manager on duty (figured if they don’t know, they can’t fix it for future customers, or at least customers that might). So what do I get??? A corporate customer service line, because… (& was told exactly this)…. that store isn’t taking calls!!! So not only did I get poor service (& I’m sure my little business means nothing to them) but I couldn’t even be helpful to inform the manager, because the “store wasn’t taking calls”.
Like I said, I hardly EVER post a negative review, but Best Buy really went out of the way tonight (10/22/22 about 6:30PM) to make sure their service was very poor. I am sure, they are not like this always, and I may return to the store, but right now, I am not shopping there for awhile (but like I said, I am sure my little business isn’t enough to make a bit of difference to them, but hey, I can only do what I can do). I really hope this was just a bad night for them, but they should look at a way to make service a little better.

I booked a pickup order, that said pickup in an hour from Strongsville. But they didn’t update for more than a day & then their centralized call center team says wait for 2-3 days or cancel. The computer department is a mess here. They have one person, younger brunette dude that was playing show tunes, that’s been helpful when I go in and everybody else just kind of avoids anything. This last time I came in just needing an apple pencil. Didn’t have questions. Waited at the desk for a while but there was no one even in sight so I went and played with the pencil. About 20 minutes later 6 workers showed up. There was a gentleman and another woman waiting for help. Both had technical questions. They were closer to the little counter since I had gone to play with the pencil so I understood they’d get helped first, but FOUR of the workers went with the woman to talk about what bandwidths she needs for her router. One had gone with the man and another one was doing inventory counts. The inventory person was close to me so I asked them if there was a chance they could grab the pencil for me so I could just go check out and they informed me they couldn’t, looks over at the group of four workers and the woman, and tells me I should wait. Luckily I found a perfectly working one second hand for like half price so it worked out in the long run but not anywhere close to the time frame I was shooting forBy Kirby Bjostad (5 months ago)big box brick and mortar store which unfortunately seem to be disappearing. staff were very considerate. asking immediately if we needed any assistance, but laying off when we declined. finally had a few questions and they were right on it. answered everything we needed, and we’re truthful, not just trying to say what they thought we wanted to hear. had a question the associate wasn’t able to answer directly and the immediately got in touch with someone who was able to help. good selection of products, and unlike some other places actually have stock.By Jimmy Gaal (3 weeks ago)Took 7 appointments to get our appliances installed and probably 10+ hours on the phone. 5 of the appointments were for simply converting a stove to propane. Best Buy has zero communication with the third party installers/delivery people. The guys show up or call and don’t even know what the job is/have the parts to complete the job. In return for multiple days of missed work they gave us a measly 150$ store credit that expired in a few months. So we decided to use the store credit for a new tv/installation. Guess what, first appointment was today between 9am-1pm and they completely ghosted us AGAIN. No phone call or anything, thanks for a ruining another entire day of my time. Go elsewhere, after this we will NEVER shop at Best Buy again. Oh and the total tech membership doesn’t improve anything either so don’t waste your time.
PS. 3/4 delivered appliances had to be replaced because they were defective/damaged.

I waited over 30 minutes for my order to be brought to my car, I had a sleeping baby in the car so I didn’t want to go in. Had I known it would take that long I would have picked up my order at a different time when I could go inside.By Victoria Crites (a week ago)They seem to be now more into the business of selling insurance through their geeks squad than helping customers get what they need. They basically lured me into buying a $ 200 insurance under the pretext that they will cover installation and most repairs in the future, only to tell me after I waited two weeks for installation, that I have to pay over $1000 for installation because the $200 insurance does not apply to a business setting, when in fact, I was abundantly clear with them that the TV and camera set that I purchased for for a business. This horrible experience happened to me at two of their store. I still did not have my items yet.
I get it now ! If they can get 1 million people pay $ 200 per year on insurance, they make de facto 200 millions dollars without breaking a sweat….

I shop all my electronics in Best buy, but today was my great disappointment! The Morse Rd store was one of the best, but tonight it felt like a zoo. At the end of my shopping and after paying for my items, the cashier wouldn’t let me bag my items and said bags are 11 cents. I was upset why I wasn’t asked if I wanted a bag or why it wasn’t included from the beginning. In her defense this was not a new rule since it’s been there for 3 moths…. 3 months is pretty new. After waiting several minutes for a store associate to walk by the area, I finally went in search of one.
All I wanted was to have him unlock the display and get my item. “I don’t work in this area. Try someone in the cell phone area.” That was the response.
Went over to the cell phone area (the item I was trying to get was wearable tech), an associate asked if he could help. I told him what I wanted and how I got to him. His expression was clearly disappointment with the other associate’s lack of help. He walked me to the display and got me the item I wanted to purchase. I thanked him for his help.
First guy could learn a lot from the second associate’s customer service. So could Best Buy in general.
