Jose, is one of the best person you would ever need for an employee! More people should look up to him. The store is kept clean! Also Kendrick is also amazing. Give them raises, they earn it! However, more courtesy and assistance for customers could be provided. Attendant was not too well trained or ready to assist customer. Customer assisted the employee when he couldn’t remove the safety or anti theft device. Other than that , everything was in order. I’m used to a larger store, with more there.
This one seemed so small. We actually ran in to use the bathroom, but while inside, looked around to see what deals they had. Although we didn’t find anything, we did notice that the store itself seemed clean. Staff seemed attentive and ready to help, if that would have been needed. The size of the store detracted me a little bit, because normally I like the sound rooms that I’ve seen in the past (with all of the bassy speakers…) and unless I missed it, I just did not see that here.
Three stars mainly because it was smaller and had less than I’d have wanted or expected. Three stars also because it still seems like a good enough store to shop in, if needed.

I used to love best buy. But now it seems like evey time i go there they don’t have what i want. Standard Best Buy. Electronic stock was pretty good, but some things were out. Many phoneme they carried did not have protective gear available in store. Switch peripherals selection was very humdrum, sort of pedestrian. Staff are great though, friendly and chatty and nice, just really warm. We were happily greeted at the door by a manager, he pointed us in the direction we needed to go, they were busy. A young man man in that area said they’d be right with us, they were all helping other customers. My husband and I looked around for about 10 minutes, found a few we liked. Another young man came over, listened to what we were wanting and looking at, he talked through them each and then showed us another one we hadn’t even looked at with a couple more options and with a better price point. We purchased it, and are very happy…I will absolutely make my next electronic purchase there! They literally stop you at the door and ask what you are looking for and if you say your just browsing they then push in and almost give you the 3rd degree and will not let you pass them easily without what they consider a satisfying answer. I personally feel bullied and this is all before you even get past the entrance. They the employees are also either no where to be found when you need help or act like they don’t hear you or literally say that they are too busy. I would not recommend this location unless you know what you want and have purchased it online first.
Their inventory numbers are always wrong, their staff is rude and most of their staff has NO knowledge about product functionality and operation. If you try to ask a question, the unpleasant situation becomes intolerable. This goes for the TV, Computer, Car Audio and now Cell Phone departments and staff.
Do not expect to get someone on the phone at this location if you have questions about product functionality or availability. If they have something in stock, make sure they actually pull it off the shelf because their inventory numbers are always wrong and they could care less. If you get someone on the phone, it’s typically from the national call center. You might as well hang up because if you call back and ask a different person the same question, you will get a completely different answer each time.
I have been a loyal customer of Best Buy for 30+ years. I will avoid the Tiffany Springs Best Buy and drive 20 to 40+ minutes to the Best Buy in Liberty or Micro Center in Overland Park.
Hopefully their corporate management will see this and their customer service will improve like it was when they were located at 169 and Barry Rd.

A clerk showed up immediately, showed me three choices and recommended the best one in his opinion. I installed it, easy install as he had said. So far it is doing everything I had hoped for. Ordered two simple items online for pickup. When I arrived to pickup the items one was not pulled and couldnt be found. The head associate told me they were very busy this time of year and kinda dismissed my issue. I looked around with my wife and there four customers in the store, four. Busy time of year? Had to cancel my order which made the trip and evening a total waste of time. Staff offered no help in finding alternative or remorse.
