Excellent service, clean store, full of big screen TVs ready for Christmas shoppers. If you’ve not been to the Columbia Heights Best Buy, is so convenient to the metro, and other shopping, and it put me in the Christmas Spirit.By Kiffa Shirley (a year ago)What a joke of a service Best Buy offers when it comes to in-store collection. The cell phone I wanted to get was available but the price was higher than the one listed online. This could not be revised in the system by the staff in the store and asked me to order online for an in-store collection, which was supposed to take up-to 1 hour. After doing so with the correct price I had to wait for over 2 hours for the order to be processed. I still had to leave without the item due to an urgent commitment. What a horrible service. The silver lining being Unique who was very helpful. Still I would not recommend Best Buy as a whole with their terrible systems built to waste your time.By Velko T (2 months ago)Minimal floor staffing, poor customer service, and confusing layout with limited stock. If you’re looking for help or just need something quick, good luck because you won’t get any assistance. Also, certain Apple trade-in promos do not apply to this store, but you won’t find that out until after an hour waiting in line. This makes for a great shopping experience. I purchased ah MacBook last year with Apple Care +. When I went into Best Buy to get it serviced, I received nothing but barriers. It took 3days just to send the computer out to be serviced, if not more. Once, I was done with that I was faced with another barrier. No Apple Care+. Of course this was not true but took ME, THE CUSTOMER, 3 more days just to rectify this.
